Peter "Pete" Wilder is Oceanside's alternative medicine guru. But he's not a quack. He is, however, a widower who masks his grief with one-night stands, and a man who's taken an immediate liking to Addison.

A certified herbalist who spent five years in China learning alternative medicine, Pete Wilder combines medical acupuncture with nutritional, botanical modalities in the treatment of patients with a wide range of health conditions. He has also lectured locally and internationally on Oriental and Eastern medicine.

Dr. Wilder often provides patients with complete, holistic birth plans. Laboring moms love Pete. He is also responsible for the institution of a "no consorting" rule among the practitioners at the Oceanside Wellness Group. We'll see if that lasts.
