@anuflas Yeah, except that the ratings were way higher in the beginning of the season, than they are now. I get that you hate Izzie/Katherine Heigl, and that's fine. It's your opinion. But a lot of people love her, and watch the show for her. Maybe you don't feel this way, but if she left it would be a big loss.

She can't leave! It will completely ruin the show for me. Izzie is my absolute favorite character. This season has broken my heart. I need her. She's part of the fab 5. We're already missing George, we can't lose another one.
If she was planning on leaving, then why wouldn't they have just killed Izzie when they killed George?
The end really broke my heart. Izzie just went through hell and she needed time to breathe. She came back and tried to make things right, and this is what happens?! How can Alex not forgive her? She's forgiven him for pleanty of things in the past. There's no way they can ever be with anyone else. They were made for eachother. And really, this storyline is bullsh*t.
Seriously, have you guys not been paying attention to MerDer this whole series? Izzie and Alex will get back together by the end of the season. It's just going to be a rocky road until then.
Oh, and it's not going to be someone who's friends with Izzie. So no Christina or Meredith. And I can't see Lexi or Addison doing that to her either, even if they aren't good friends. Calie and Arizona love eachother, and they're lesbians. Plus Arizona was talking to him about Izzie in that one episode. So I have no idea what to think.
Seriously, I thought he was over the whole making bad decisions thing. He's going to cheat on her AGAIN?! "I get that you're scared, but you're not going to have to feel like that again. Cause I'm not going to die Iz, and I'm not going to cheat on you." What happened to that? Yeah, I get that Izzie left and he's all broken and blah, but I'm pretty sure she hasn't been out having sex with everyone.
I really don't understand all the Izzie hate. I'm biased, considering she's my favorite character, but I really wouldn't blame anyone for falling apart after everything she's gone through. Most people would probably react worse. Getting cancer, your best friend dying, and losing your job, is ALOT to handle. Those things are hard enough by themselves, but having them all happen at once, would just be unbearable. Anyway, I'm really glad she's back for an episode.
Krissy: So Katherine Heigl thinks she's a "big shot" because she took a hiatus to film a movie? Wow. She's furthering her career, and I'm glad she's doing it because I love all of her movies.
It was a cool episode. And unique. But it didn't feel like Grey's Anatomy. Probably because Izzie was gone :( I miss her sooo much. Anyway, I really hate that Charles guy. I wish he would have gotten fired.
If they break up Izzie and Alex I'm gonna be pissed. Izzie doesn't sleep around anyway. And Alex "can't survive without her." They can't just ruin that.
You know what I would love to see? Show the main characters go on vacation. Or show us their family's and where they grew up. Or have one of the couples go on a roadtrip. Something where we can see them out of the hospital and as real people. It would be interesting.
I really loved this episode. Especially the Izzie and Alex scenes. So cute. :) In one of the writer's blogs, the one where they answer questions, someone asked what was gonna happen to Izzie since KH is leaving for a little, and they said it's gonna be kind of amazing. If I remember correctly. So hopefully nothing bad happens.

I hope Izzie and Alex don't break up. I'm so happy they're finally together. The writers don't need to make unnecessary relationship drama to accomadate Katherine Heigl's absence. After everything they've been through together, I really can't see them wanting to be apart. I think they need eachother now more than ever.
I agree with Mandy. I saw a bunch of negative comments on other websites too. That's why I like this one, people are posative and don't try to attack everyone. This is an incredible thing she's doing, and people try to twist things around and make it seem like it's not. It's stupid. Anyway, I love her and wish her well!
