  1. Fairly Legal Review: Running Into the Storm

I tried to watch this show last season and just couldn't get into it. I turned it on by chance 4 episodes ago and I am totally hooked. Ben is completely adorable. I also love Leo. I hope the network renews for another year to give the show a chance to develop. The only person I'm not 100% sold on is Kate. She divorced Jason but hops back into bed with him at the drop of a hat. She needs to grow up big time.
  2. NCIS: Los Angeles Season Finale Review: Checkmate

If Hetty was in on this, I really don't understand the morgue scene. As for the rest, I agree the shooting wasn't real. Could Hunter's death have been unanticipated and real and that's why Hetty walks out? I think I read somewhere that Linda Hunt would like to retire. Thoughts, anyone?
  3. NCIS: Los Angeles Review: A New Boss in the Boat House

@Alihan, I've wondered about Kensi's father also. I don't watch Hawaii 5-0 so I don't know what led up to her going back to Hawaii. I'm guessing he is still alive or she has lead on who killed him.
  4. NCIS: Los Angeles Review: A New Boss in the Boat House

I'm wondering if it isn't a Vance, Hetty setup, or maybe a Vance, Hetty, Granger setup. Vance likes and trusts Hetty as far as I can tell so why send someone to change things. Granger will turn out to be a flat out bad guy or not nearly as obnoxious as he appears (I hope).

Jada back next week, mixed feelings on that.
  5. NCIS: Los Angeles Review: Blindsided!

@coco14 - I think we're being played. I went back and re-read some of his posts and his commend of English is amazingly better in some posts than in others. I have been focusing more on him than the show that I love and I'm done.

Have fun, Michael, but I've stopped playing.
  6. NCIS: Los Angeles Review: Blindsided!

Michael, you're back. Try to stay with me here. There are thousands of TV shows that I don't watch because I don't care for them. I am assuming that your TV has more than one channel and an off button. Why are you watching something you don't like? Use the remote!!!
  7. NCIS: Los Angeles Review: Blindsided!

I loved this episode. It was intense but not in the same way as last week's show. I did wonder at the beginning if Hetty and Deeks had something going but it never dawned on me that everyone was involved excepted Kensi. I should have, knowing that Sam and Callen would never desert a team member. I did think that Quinn was the mole as soon as he appeared, not because of my great deductive reasoning, but because I liked Angela, so did Kensi, and she loved and trusted Bates (it's a girl thing, makes no sense at all but it is what it is). Lastly, I thought that both Kensi and Deeks acted like there is a lot more going on with them than a working partnership but again that's probably because that's what I want and not necessarily what's best for the show. I'll just have to trust the writers to get it right. Overall, one of my favorite episodes.
  8. NCIS: Los Angeles Review: Sam Hanna Revealed

@Denise, I didn't know about Sam's wife but in one ep he talked about when his daughter started school he followed her school bus for weeks.
  9. NCIS: Los Angeles Review: Sam Hanna Revealed

Wow, this episode was a classic "be careful what you wish for because you might get it". I have posted in the past that I wanted to know more about Sam's life outside of NCIS and this week's show gave it to me. I knew Sam had children but didn't know his martial status. I really thought Sam truly loved Jada and I still am not sure he doesn't. If I would have posted right after the show ended I would have written something totally different than what I feel know. Sam did what he had to do. I didn't like it and poor Jada was again the victim of a man but her brother had to be stopped.

Michael, I don't know what your problem is with America or Americans but there is a problem. You seem to have more going on in your head than a TV show.
  10. NCIS: Los Angeles Review: Modern Day Ninjas

I think G's grandfather is George and Hetty claims not to know G's father. I don't know who Walter is either.
  11. NCIS: Los Angeles Review: Modern Day Ninjas

Did not disappoint as usual. I love the respect the teams have for each other. They give each other a hard time but I noticed no one thought that Sam was getting there late because he overslept or something like us mere mortals. I knew Sam had kids but never pictured him going home to the family. Poor Mrs.Hanna with Callan crashing on her sofa and wandering around all night. Eric and Nell were hysterical. Another team that works so well.
  12. NCIS: Los Angeles Review: The Greatness of Hetty

Gotta get this said first. I Love Deeks hair. He is perfect just the way he is. A preppy looking Deeks would be weird with his quirky personality. Kimville, I think he is still the LAPD liason assigned to NCIS. When all the agents resigned to go after Hetty,he said he would resign too if he could. I love reading everyone else's comments and takes on this show and I am happy to see that the reviews are growing. I also want to know more about Sam and I think it is strange that after Callen has learned something about his past he doesn't mention it again. Oh well, the writers obviously know what they are doing since I don't even answer my phone on Tuesday nights when NCIS:LA (& NCIS) is on.
  13. NCIS: Los Angeles Review: Find My Car, Eric!

This show just keeps getting better. The addition of Deeks and Nell have made a good show a "not to be missed" show. There is still so much to learn about all the characters. We still don't know much about Sam except that he is an ex-seal and very principled. We are learning bit by bit about Callen's past and trying to second guess the writers is half the enjoyment. I can't believe I have to move NCIS to 2nd place because I love the show, but if I could only watch one, it would be NCIS: LA.
  14. NCIS: Los Angeles Review: Callen vs. Gaddafi

Good point about no sister in the flashbacks. I hadn't thought about that. Hetty said that she hadn't gotten there in time to save Clara but I had the impression that she did get there right after and was able to do something to help Callen. She also said the mission to get Clara out of the country was scrubbed at the last minute. I wonder were that is going to lead?
  15. NCIS: Los Angeles Review: Callen vs. Gaddafi

Thanks, David, I was petty sure the original El-Libi was killed and his friend took his place. After I read the episode overview I couldn't figure out how I got so sideways with the story line. Good plot and love the addition of Monty. Very happy to be getting Callen's family history but thought it would have been logical for one of his first questions to have been what his given name was.I also would like to know what Hetty meant when she said she couldn't help G.s' sister but was determined to save him. I still think Hunter could be the sister and I'm not sure even that will endear her to me. Oh well, let the week fly by! I really need to invest in a DVR.
  16. NCIS: Los Angeles Review: "Cyber Threat"

I also had the thought that Hunter might be Callen's sister. I hope not because I don't like her at all and I don't see her growing on me. This was Nell's show. She was awesome. Deeks is far and away my favorite character. His addition somehow has made all the other characters more human to me. I also agree with Sue Ann that Callan has the right to know, good or bad, safe or not, about his background. The writers will have a hard time convincing me that Hetty is right in withholding whatever information she has. NCIS:LA has become my favorite TV show. I can't wait for the next epesode!
