This was an awesome episode and I loved the "frozen lake" thread. Like a lot of others, I have waited patiently, actually impatiently, for Kensi and Deeks to finally admit their love for each other. I keep it together until right at the end. The combination of Landslide and the sadness on Deeks' face got to me. Speaking of Landslide, does anyone know who was singing? It wasn't Stevie Nicks.
@possum. She saw the bandage on Jangles back and realized he was the one that stabbed Mike.
I really can't figure out why people see Briggs as the bad guy. Plays outside the rules, yes, imperfect, yes, but bad? Was he suppose to sit on the beach and let the man he thought was Jangles kill him? He was willing to lose everything to save Charlie. When has he not been there for the other agents. I agree with Nisan, my problem is with Mike and his holier than thou attitude. At one time he told Juan that he wished Briggs was the brother he never had. Really??? I hope DC turns out to be a case of be careful what you wish for and he realizes what he walked away from.
I think I am the only one who is still behind Briggs. I think he is a good agent and a good person. I'm glad DJ was there for him. Could Mike possibly have palmed the tape to listen to it alone? The only thing I can't understand is what Briggs is doing with the heron he is taking. I don't think he is using.
I too love this show. I don't think Briggs is dirty. I don't know if he is Odin but so far I've got his back. Like everyone else I was horrified when Mike told Jose about Briggs. I didn't like Jose from the start but I just figured he was a paper pushing company man but I changed my mind after this episode. I think he knew Mike was questioning his commitment to the assignment and he gave him the picture to remind Mike that continuing to follow orders will get him what he wants, an assignment in DC. The guy's a snake in the grass. Question to others: Who in the world would want to leave Graceland or more to the point, his housemates?
I tried to watch this show last season and just couldn't get into it. I turned it on by chance 4 episodes ago and I am totally hooked. Ben is completely adorable. I also love Leo. I hope the network renews for another year to give the show a chance to develop. The only person I'm not 100% sold on is Kate. She divorced Jason but hops back into bed with him at the drop of a hat. She needs to grow up big time.
If Hetty was in on this, I really don't understand the morgue scene. As for the rest, I agree the shooting wasn't real. Could Hunter's death have been unanticipated and real and that's why Hetty walks out? I think I read somewhere that Linda Hunt would like to retire. Thoughts, anyone?
@Alihan, I've wondered about Kensi's father also. I don't watch Hawaii 5-0 so I don't know what led up to her going back to Hawaii. I'm guessing he is still alive or she has lead on who killed him.
I'm wondering if it isn't a Vance, Hetty setup, or maybe a Vance, Hetty, Granger setup. Vance likes and trusts Hetty as far as I can tell so why send someone to change things. Granger will turn out to be a flat out bad guy or not nearly as obnoxious as he appears (I hope). Jada back next week, mixed feelings on that.
@coco14 - I think we're being played. I went back and re-read some of his posts and his commend of English is amazingly better in some posts than in others. I have been focusing more on him than the show that I love and I'm done. Have fun, Michael, but I've stopped playing.
