Excuse my ignorance but was Maeve played by Beth Riesgraf, late of Leverage? I believe she was there with dark hair? I don't recognize her as the actress who played in the original episode as Reid's love interest.
This show is getting to the point of the same church, different pew. I would like to see the hero with the upper hand and watch Joe squirm. I hope we see some resolution to this conflict soon. It's becoming rather boring.
I loved the last scene. Brought back memories of the scene in The Departed where Mark Wahlberg showed up at Matt Damon's apartment and finished putting his groceries away for him. :-)
Question???? Has there ever been an explanation why Nick cannot see Renard as he is? I thought Grimms were supposed to be able to do that. Maybe I missed that. I have watched all the episodes but don't recall an explanation.
I know this is a tv show and I am supposed to suspend my belief system in some cases. However, Brody's involvement with the tailor is just a bit much. Other parts of the episode are spot on. I really enjoyed his wife's speech. Don't think a more purposeful oration about the effect on family members could have been given. Again the bit with the tailor was just toooooo much of a streeeetch.
Maybe he spoke to the Machine to draw out the "contingency" Harold spoke of during a conversation a few episodes ago. Reese asked him what happens if you're gone Harold, and H replies he has contingency plans.
Callen shot the wrong person. Or maybe Hetty should have shot the assistant director when Callen shot the Chameleon. I will leave it at that. I find no socially redeeming value in the character of the Miguel Ferrer character. Typical bureaucrat who is worried about his job and is a sycophant to his superiors. About as capable of independent thinking as an amoeba.
I am growing weary. I am sure there are other crimes in Seattle. Please solve this one and get on with it. You can only stretch a rubber band so far. I am losing interest. Great acting but the script writing is going to hell in a hand basket.
