Hunky paramedic dies in the season finale`
This episode rang true to my personal life. I have had mental illness in my family for 50 years .. yes 50. Trust me when I tell you - the mentally ill can look one straight in the eye & be lying the entire time & sound so convincing that they are telling one the truth. Always remember, they are in mental institutions because they are mentally so not well. Please don't laugh at this stuff, to those of us who are sane can't even start to fathom & comprehend those who aren't. And these people ARE smart but their brains are not thinking at all like ours. Creepy????? Oh you bet it is!!!
I agree with everyone w/the "bait & switch" of John Ross towards his new wife. Do we have to have John Ross be just like J.R. every step of the way?? I know most apples don't fall far from the tree but seriously you writer-folks behind the pens at Dallas - you could have had him be the guy who adores his wife & didn't stray because SHE was enough for him. But, he'll do himself in - we could see it last night - Mr. antsy pants - come on Uncle Bobby this & that - let's not wait. Maybe he'll smarten up & maybe he won't & if he WON'T, let Pamela put tire tracks in him. His Mother warned him. He NEVER pays any heed ... aside from that, the 2-hr finale DELIVERED the goods!!
Part II - Pamela & John Ross will either be a treacherous couple or be an endearing one. All I know is that I.LOVE.THIS.SHOW - bring on the 2 hr. season finale on Monday. Time to reveal just who killed J.R. - I still wonder if it was Judith Ryland or was it Pamela Ewing, Christopher's mother? Thanks to the writers, producers, cast members (it was so fabulous seeing Bobby & SueEllen talking like friends towards the end of this episode - much like "old friends" would.) Huge applause to everyone associated with this show.
I am SO with you @V - omg, omg, OMG!!!! Another jaw dropping, delicious episode. The ending where Bobby hands Cliffie the keys to the Ewing kingdom & how Bobby walked away, smiling & agreeing he would love to see the look on J.R.'s face - I LOVE the "new" Bobby - he is now conflicted - he so wants to remain his own self but knowing that his older brother is no longer to do "what he did best" now Bobby has to assume that role. The look on his face as he walked out at normal speed & then when the film went into "slo-mo" as they used to call it - WOW, WOW, WO!!! I am happy that Ann left Emma to sit in jail overnight - what a brat. Enough of blaming her mother - now it's time to spin on a dime with "daddy dearest." I cannot wait to see ol' Cliff Barnes when he finds out his daughter married JR's son ... I like the pairing of Pamela & John Ross. He LOVES her ... I hope SHE loves him back, or learns to. No more "sharing" women between John Ross & Christopher - ICK!!! Being married will either make them a treacherous couple OR in the end, an endearing one. Time will tell ... all I know is that I.LOVE.THIS.SHOW!!!! Bring on the 2 hr season finale. YAH!!!! GREAT JOB to the writers, producers, cast members & anyone else associated with this show.
1 - I agree - Cristina telling Mer that she had her at lethal injection - lol
2 - shocked - but maybe Bailey contracted something when on her honeymoon
3 - loved the Syrian doctor storyline - April rocked it again when she
gave them all sorts of very expensive medical equipment - BLESS HER!!!
4 - possibly adopting an older child would be better for Cristina should she
& Owen decide to go that route - I think she realizes that he wants to
be a Dad & she realizes that Owen would be the more dominant parent
until SHE falls in love with the child - something tells me she would.
5 - "Mousy" has always been my favorite new intern
All of you that have posted your dislike of Jo are not the only ones. I just don't think she is the one for Alex .. April rocked it again last night! Not only w/Matthew but giving all that expensive medical stuff to the two Syrian doc's - bless her!! .. I really like Heather, the rest can go & what's this w/Shane being so pissy w/Heather? And Derek telling Shane to his face he should find something else to do-ballsy!! .. it's ok that Cristina just wants to be a cool aunt - at least she wants to be something w/kids other than be a genius. As far as Cristina being w/Owen - I'll be surprised they make it. They don't talk about having kids - they won't last. I'll be shocked if they do. They are a fabulous couple just how they are living "for the moment" - unless Owen just gets his "fatherly stuff" through kids like Ethan. It WILL be the only way, if he wants to remain with Cristina. She is adamant that she wants ZERO kids.
Second best episode ever - obviously the first being when Rick & Kate FINALLY kissed & had sex at the end of last season. Did Stana not look gorgeous with that black dress & swept back hair? Just stunning & I am sure Kate's surprise plan came straight from Rick being a novelist. The intrigue, suspense, etc. What a fabulous surprise that they actually kissed not once but twice during the "surprise Castle" scene? I have a question though - what's up with Martha calling Kate - Katherine? First it was Beckett, then for a while Kate, now it's Katherine? LOVE Susan Sullivan though - so full of "soap theatrics" - makes me really laugh. What a great show!! Thansk to the writers, cast & crew!!! And just like Rick & Kate toasted to the first 100 - here's to the next 100! I agree ...
Loved the little relationship between Owen & Ethan - unless his parents die, I don't see Owen adopting him. Owen & Cristina are still "blissfully happy" leave them until next season to figure out kids .... they've had such angst for such a long time, I'd like to see them just be happy for the rest of the season. Of course that is NOT how Shonda & Co. see it - so we'll get what we get with them. April just rocked it again last night. She is really turning out to be a great assistant to Owen in the ER but I felt so bad for her when Elyse died & Jackson knew just what to do - just by sitting there pulling her close letting her cry & thank you Alex Karev for actually being sensitive towards April & telling the husband that his wife had died. Very good show.
You go Alex!!!
