  1. Glee Review: Too Sexy For Their Shirts

@kay - Lea Michele did not go topless in Spring Awakening.

I agree, the music tonight was pretty great. There are some episodes where I don't like any of their choices and then others where every one is great (the episode with "Barely Breathing", "Don't Speak", and "The Scientist" comes to mind). My only complaint is some of their mash-ups aren't really mash-ups when they only include a line or two from the second song. "Centerfold/Hot in Here" was mostly just Hot in Here. The same was done with "I Feel Pretty/Unpretty". I still love the mash-up, but I was slightly disappointed in the lack of "I Feel Pretty" in the song.
  2. New Girl Review: In Front of the Iron Curtain

Great episode! Jess and Nick's kiss was perfect for them. Loved it.
  3. Downton Abbey Review: Goodbye to a Lady

Sorry, just didn't come off as sarcasm to me.

I did forget to say though that I agree about Thomas and his breakdown. He was right, out of all of them he probably spent the most time with her and outside of the servant/master relationship.
  4. Downton Abbey Review: Goodbye to a Lady

Not to be rude but I feel as if you haven't watched the past two seasons. I realize they were a while ago, but still. Bates was Robert's valet, the job Thomas now has. And Thomas has been shown in relationships or at least dalliances with men before, although I do believe those were at the beginning of the series.

Anyway, this episode broke my heart. Sybil has been my favorite since the first epsiode and it was crushing to watch her die when she didn't have to. I knew Dr. Clarkson was right and that other guy was just a jerk. Clarkson knew Sybil better than the other doctor. Plus, shouldn't Cora have noticed something was wrong? She herself had three daughters and should know how labor goes. Sir Phillip kept using the excuse that Sybil was merely a woman in labor. It was very obvious that there was something more going on. Tom begging Sybil to breath was heartbreaking to watch, as was Mary and Edith's helplessness. I really wish Mary would get off her high horse. Edith has tried to be friends on several occassions. Edith does whine a bit but she has the right to. She was offered a wonderful opportunity and her father basically told her it was only because she was a lady of the gentry. Every time Edith tries to do something she gets shot down. When she wanted to learn to drive they all said it was ridiculous. When she wanted to help on a farm they said the same thing. When she wanted to marry an older gentleman her father made him go away. I think writing the column will be good for her and I think she will pick up where Sybil left off in being a modern woman. Lastly, Daisy needs some love. Poor girl always falls for the guys who don't like her. I think if she had been given the time she would have loved William. Sadly he passed away before she could and now she is trying to find someone. I don't see why the boys are all over Ivy. She's basically a taller, slightly fuller Daisy in looks. Daisy is less open though it seems. The best part of the night was definitely when Isobel stood her ground and let Mrs. Bird go.
  5. Glee Review: Turning Tables

Sam was the best part of the episode. He was hilarious as he tried to figure out how the Warblers cheated. I was back and forth on this episode too. Tina finally gets a story and it's this. I think I'd like to see her with Ryder, maybe? I liked Kurt's NYC story more than Rachel's, although I don't blame her for being mad. I've been in that situation.

But the best part of the episode? Darren Criss' fellow Starkid Joey Richter making an apearance as one of the show choir members!
  6. Suits Review: Rehab

I love how Harvey yells at and is made at Mike, yet as soon as Mike comes in with a black eye he's ready to beat up whoever did it. The same can be said of Louis fixing him up.
  7. Necessary Roughness Review: Two Men, One Heart

Team Nico since day one! I like her and Matt together, but the chemistry between Dani and Nico was evident from the beginning!
  8. Supernatural Review: Return of the Queen

At the beginning of the series, LARPing woud not have been a Dean thing. He definiely would have made fun of Sam forliking it or knowing about it. But at thame time it's a very Dean thing too; his Braveheart speech at the end was hilarious and true to character. He has always loved and quoted movies. Another fun episode. They seem to know when to throw a fun episode in tolighte the heavy mood. My only complaint is the lack of Castiel. He would have been hilarious in the LARPing world!
  9. Hart of Dixie Review: Ship-naped

The best part of this episode for me was also Annabeth. She has become one of my favorite characters and I love when they give her screen time. It was great that tonight she got a story that didn't involve Lemon (who I still am not a big fan of, honestly). I hope they give her someone soon. Every guy she likes is not the right fit for her. I like her and Lavon together, especially at the end, but I agree it won't go smoothly since she knows abotu Lemon's feelings for Lavon. My favorite part though was when Annabeth realized Lemon thought she was sleeping with Brick.
  10. How I Met Your Mother Review: On the Cuff

Maybe it's just me, but I personally don't think Robin looks all that great this season. I've been rewatching the series and she used to wear dresses and boots and her hair was longer. In this episode she looked a little too skinny.
  11. Once Upon a Time Review: What Cannot Be Undone

Elle, the guy in the car was Ethan Embry, not the actor who played Henry's father in the flashback episode. It was revealed a few months ago that he would play a stranger coming to the town.
  12. Once Upon a Time Review: What Cannot Be Undone

Belle is one of my favorite fairytale characters, but try as I might I am not really a fan of her and Rumple on this show. I was shocked when she was shot, though. I liked her backstory with Mulan (my favorite Disney character) and how she and Phillip met. Now they just need to show her in the emporer's army and bring Shang in and I'll be happy. I feel like the made a big deal about the addition of Aurora and Mulan and then nothing really happened with them. Aurora was whiny and Mulan a bit rude and that was it.

I like Snow White and Charming's new issues. She is tired of fighting and constantly loosing him. But what's with Emma's new look? She's wearing a lot of turtlenecks which are a bit out of character and don't look all that great on her.
  13. Downton Abbey Review: I Don't

Oh Edith. She finally got her moment and was crushed. I was really hoping she would get her happiness finally. I was glad to see Mary and Sybil go to her aide, but I understand why Edith sent them away. They're just a reminder of what she doesn't have and what she doesn't think she will ever have. I do hope they have something amazing in store for her.

While I understand Matthew's reluctance, although both Mary and my roommate did not, I'm glad that it worked itself out correctly instead of Mary forcing him to do something he didn't want to. I like how it was pointed out that the smaller house was still huge.

I find Thomas and O'Brien's little war to be funny considering how they conspired against everyone at the beginning. However I'm wondering what the big deal with Ethel is. What does she need help with?
  14. Downton Abbey Review: Wedded Bliss?

Poor Edith. My roommate strongly dislikes her but I feel for her. Like you said she is always overlooked. Every man she has liked or cared for has prefered her sister or was married. She cared so much for the men staying at the home during the war and all she got for it was one mention at a family dinner. She deserves some happiness. Mary still bugs me. She has never understood Matthew's guilt about Lavinia. I truly think he cared for her and it pains him that he hurt her after she was nothing but sweet and supportive. I cannot wait for the family to get past Tom's differences and I hope Tom learns to control himself and give in a little to what the family wants. Forcing him into the coat was probably one of the funniest moments. No mention of Daisy and her little protest/watching of Alfred? I'm glad to see she feels better about everything that happened with William (I still miss him) and I hope she finds some real happiness this season. She just needs to stop listening to Thomas!
  15. Royal Pains Review: Something Borrowed, Something New

I was shocked that Boris was dead...yet not suprised when he turned up at the end. Divya needs to go back to her old self. I like that she's not so put together, but marrying Rafa? I really don't like him. I want them to bring back the patient from season 2 that she had great chemistry with.
  16. Criminal Minds Review: Bugged About Karma

I do NOT want Morgan and Garcia together. They are great as is! I actually really liked Morgan and Prentiss together.
  17. New Girl Review: Winter Privilege Night

Seriously? Her coat was adorable and I've seen similar ones all over the place. It seems you hate a major part of the show. The basis of this show is a quirky, "adorkable" young woman moves in with three guys who do not understand her quirks. Remember the wedding episode last season where they all instructed Jess on how not to be herself? I don't know why people have a problem with the four acting "immature". What do you want them to be doing, reading the Wall Street Journal and discussing the fiscal cliff? You cannot tell me you have never done something stupid like throwing cranberries at someone, no matter what age you are.
  18. Hart of Dixie Review: The Ship Is Sailing

Wade and Zoe are adorable and Iloved when he stopped her from rambling on. I'm all for George and Tansy too. Tansy may not be as poised and perhaps as mart as Zoe and Lemon, but she challenges George in ways neither of the other girls did I'm glad they didn't drag out the thinking that George was proposing, although I was suprised it was Lavon. I have never been a Ruby fan and I never will be. She reminds me a lot of Cassandra on Emily Owens M.D., she is somone who says things solely to get on the other person's nerves.
  19. The Mindy Project Review: Season's Cheatings

This review was posted before the episode even aired...

Poor Mindy. I love how she leaned on Danny and he was there for her the entire time from bringing the gingerbread house, talking with her when she heard the message, taking over when she couldn't read her speech, and being with her after the showdown to make their pact. Jeremy did his part too, rallying everyone to clean her house and be there for her. I didn't like Josh at first but then he became kind of cute and sweet. And now he's a jerk but that's okay because I like her and Danny together. Jeremy and Betsy together are adorable. I wasn't sure I would like this show but it is definitely one of my new favorites and I love that it's on after New Girl.
  20. AFI Top 10 of 2012: Who Got Snubbed?

And I watch none of those shows.
  21. Elementary Review: The Truth is in the VCR

I loved Johnny Lee Miller in Eli Stone and Emma and I love him in this. Definitely one of my new favorite shows. And I loved Alfredo, especially at the end with the car.
  22. Arrow Review: Hiding In Plain Sight

I'm glad Oliver has another person to confide in and I like him with Helena a lot more than I do with Laurel. I don't really see why Laurel and Oliver should be together other than they have a history. I like Laurel with Tommy a lot more. She smiles and laughs more with him. There's always tension with Oliver. I was completely shocked by Tommy's father; I definitely did not see it coming. I don't watch Revenge so I can't comment on the similarities, but the theme of revenge is nothing new.
  23. The CW Cancels Emily Owens, M.D.

I enjoyed this show! The only reason I don't watch it on Tuesdays is because I can watch it online the next day whereas New Girl and The Mindy Project (which are one at the same time) you have to wait a week for.
  24. Hawaii Five-0 Review: Cat and Mouse

This episode was good but I agree the whole Catherine/Channing part made no sense at all. I feel like they're just trying to make Catherine a part of the show, whether it makes sense or not. What exactly is her job that she carries a gun while not working and can put people on a no fly list? In season 1 we mostly saw her aboard a ship in uniform. Now she's running around with safe cracking devices?
  25. Hawaii Five-0 Review: A Dramatic Variety

I just caught up on this episode and I loved it. Kono absolutely kicked butt so I hope all the "They're kicking Grace Park off the show" people will chill out for a while. I am not a Doris or Mary fan really but their interaction in this episode was touching.
