What the heck. Elena and Caroline are not friends at all in the story even in the first book. They really twisted this around. Now it doesn't make any since at all. Thats why I refuse to watch any movies or TV shows made based on a book besides Twilight or like Harry Potter or stuff like that cuz they always twist things around and make them to where they don't match up with the book.
