Chris Lowell's Dell has passed away. We will miss the Private Practice character very much.
Will this be the last we see of Dell on Private Practice? We hope not, although signs of him sticking around are never too plentiful.
In the Season 2 premiere of Private Practice, "A Family Thing," Dell quitting was one of the story lines we totally did not see coming. We have a hunch this isn't the last we'll see of him, though!
Always a fan favorite, William 'Dell' Parker poses for the camera.
Sam knows what's on Dell's mind... and in the end he decides to let it go.
He says as much with his actions and his words. The intern / receptionist wants to hit that. Naomi knows it too!
Pete and Dell share positive wishes at a get-together thrown by a certain someone. These are two great "Private Practice" characters.
At least they aren't drinking on the job! Pete, Violet, Cooper and Dell share a drink and some laughs as they discuss the day's events.

Private Practice Quotes

[as we see Sam having a heart-to-heart with his little dog] Her ex-husband, Sam, is an internist. You wish you had his people skills.

Charlotte: My mom always says God doesn't give with both hands. You're young, beautiful, brilliant. There has to be something you can't have.
Amelia: Some days I'd give that all up.
Charlotte: That's just the craving talking. The longer you go without a drink...
Amelia: I drank at your wedding. I thought it was ginger ale. I spit it out.
Charlotte: OK, since then?
Amelia: Nothing, but I can't stop thinking about it.
Charlotte: It was an accident. Don't let a slip turn into a fall. Get your butt to a meeting.
