Nina Dobrev is absolutely gorgeous and beautiful and I honestly can't see any other actress pull off Elena Gilbert than anyone else, so what if she isn't blonde with blue eyes, everyone knows that when it comes to putting a book series on screen they don't exactly "go by the book" but the plot is still the same believe it or not and the series is going to be amazing no matter what!

Why no blonde hair and blue eyes?The book is very descriptive of her glowing blonde hair and lapis lazuli blue eyes. The girl playing Elena is very pretty but not really right by the description.
