Yea... this is kinda throwing me a little bit. It would make sense Emily made rings for those close to Kathryn, but we have never seen Harper before so why does he have one? Unless he is somehow related to Emily? I really hope that they don't end up giving everyone protective rings...because then it ruins the fact that Damon and Stefan have something over the rest of the vamps.
