wtf i loved the books and was so happy to hear it was going to be a show but now after seeing the cast well unless they switch the cast like really soon i am so not watching this

we agree , we loved the books
but after seeing the cast we're pissed cause they
look nothing like how they are described in the book .
did the casting ppl even read the book or the description of the characters , yeah we think not ?
bonnie is supposed to be pale and have red curly hair .

i agree wtf is the CW doing to the book series?! she even looks way too old to be a high schooler plus bonnie is pale her skin is almost translucent and she has RED CURLY HAIR and she is tiny!!! this is absolutely outrageous. I cannot even believe Smith would have let them ruin her amazing series by putting this ridiculous cast together. i am not watching this stupid show unless they change the cast. they obviously didnt read ANY of the books! let alone look at the cover to see that ELENA IS BLOND!

I was so excited to hear that they were making a series about these books I read them a long time ago when I was in high school, but when I went to the website I was really dissapointed in the cast. from what I can remember I thought Elena had blonde hair and Bonnie was small and had red curly hair and I didnt even see Merideth. I was picturing Stephan and Damon a little nicer looking.
Im not so excited about the show any longer and im not sure if i'll bother watching it.

The shoe looks good but the cast is horrible. They are not only fit for their roles but bad looking too. The three main characters(Stephan, Damon and Elena) are supposed to be GOOD looking. Not average-in-a-fugly-kind-of-way looking. They ruined it! NOT watching this twilight wannabe crap!

Well I love the T.V series, and I think the guys look hot and Bonnie looks pretty, T.V shows are never the same to the books, just like movies aren't the same to the books, mixing it up is meant to make it better. Some people don't want to see what they have read word for word, because than it would ge to boring.
