Restoring Queen Consolidated - Arrow

What the heck is going on with Queen Consolidated? I mean Palmer Technologies? Or whatever it is called these days.

Given that Oliver will continue to be the mayor of Star City, I don’t know what the chances are of him getting that company back. But they have to solve that hanging plot thread.

It’s not like I want it to play some major role in the show because, well, it never did. But this was Oliver’s company, after all, the legacy his parents left behind them after they died. So I do want the writers to revisit it and make it a little relevant.

A Health Dose Of The Oliver/Felicity Romance - Arrow

Before I go on, I need to make something clear. I have never been the biggest fan of the romance between Oliver and Felicity. I probably never will, but we all know that it’s inevitable in one way or another.

At some point in Arrow Season 6 I expect Oliver and Felicity to get together again. If the show is going to do that romance again then I have only one request.

Just do it right this time. The problem the first time was that their romance pretty much became the main with Arrow in Season 3 and Season 4.

I don’t want to see that romance take over the show again. In addition to that, I don’t want that story to be Felicity’s only arc because she is so much more than just a love interest.

Even though I think Felicity can do better than Oliver, I digress. So if we are doing another round of this couple then I want a healthy dose. I look at the Arrow Season 4 premiere as a perfect example and I’ll leave it at that.

Kevin Smith To Direct An Episode - Arrow

The Arrowverse has had the honor of getting visited by filmmaker Kevin Smith who has directed The Flash and Supergirl episodes. But what some may not know is that Smith wrote Green Arrow comics several years ago.

If you want to read some powerful Green Arrow stories, I suggest picking up Smith’s Quiver arc. Given that he has already been 2 out of 4 DC shows, I would love if he finally made his Arrow debut this season.

Since he created Mia Dearden a.k.a. Speedy, the character Thea is based on, I would geek out if he came in to direct a Speedy-heavy episode. The other option I would be down with is a written episode by him.

Another Birds Of Prey-Esque Episode - Arrow

I will be brutally honest and admit that I wish they hadn’t used the “Birds of Prey” title back in Arrow Season 2. Yes it was fun to see Huntress and The Canary clash, but it wasn’t a Birds of Prey episode other than the title.

Given that Huntress is possibly coming back in the second half of Arrow Season 6, I think a do-over is in order. With heroes like Dinah Drake, Huntress, Speedy, and maybe even a redeemed Black Siren, I desperately want to see a girl-power episode.

They could even bring back the villainous female trio from last season and introduce a few new ones. If Greg Berlanti is reading, I wouldn’t mind a Birds of Prey spin-off show, just putting it out there.

If I can’t get that then I at least want a Birds of Prey themed episode or two in some capacity. Let Oliver and his son have some quality time while the women get to really shine.

A Redemption Arc For Black Siren - Arrow

Katie Cassidy is back as Earth-2 Laurel Lance a.k.a. Black Siren and we’ll see a lot of her which I’m excited for. I have enjoyed her villainous journey so far and look forward to more.

But something that we haven’t seen a lot of in the Arrowverse in general is villains being redeemed. Laurel of Earth-2 wasn’t born evil as she went down a dark path after she lost her Oliver Queen and after she got her powers.

I love seeing Cassidy in heroic and villainous roles because she kicks ass with both types. Seeing a Laurel from another universe getting a redemption arc would make Arrow stand out from the other DC shows.

Arrow may not deal with the fantastical or time traveling elements that Supergirl, Legends and Flash do. But redeeming a villain who looks like one of their fallen heroes would make Arrow unique on that front.

It would even be empowering if Dinah Drake was part of saving Laurel, not just Oliver. In the comics Dinah Drake is actually Dinah Laurel Lance’s mother. So while I don’t expect a mother-daughter dynamic, I would love to see the one Canary try to save another one.

The Return Of Thea Queen As Speedy - Arrow

You know something that Arrow Season 5 could have used more of? Thea Queen as goddamn Speedy!

One of the problems with Arrow for many seasons now is how the team feels so male dominated. We have Felicity as Overwatch and we now have Dinah Drake as the new Black Canary.

But they are the only female heroes on the team as of right now. If there is something Arrow Season 6 need, it is the return of Thea as Speedy. Team Arrow need to up their female presence!

I also genuinely miss seeing Green Arrow and Speedy out on the field together. By the time we get to December, I want to see Speedy action or an indication that Speedy will soon return.

Nyssa Al Ghul's Survival - Arrow

If we exclude all the series regulars and Deathstroke, there are a few people who may have actually died in the explosion. We know that the two Al Ghul sisters, Samantha Clayton and Evelyn Sharp were there.

Heck, for all we know, Malcolm Merlyn and Captain Boomerang may have not initially died from that landmine that Malcom set off. My rule is that if we don’t see a body, they ain’t 100% dead.

I’m just taking a wild guess that Mama Clayton went out with a bang since William will be with Oliver. The one character that I desperately want to have survived is Nyssa Al Ghul.

Katrina Law is someone I always want to see more of in the Arrowverse. A part of me is still cheering for a Sara/Nyssa reunion as I want that romance to be endgame.

Even though Law is busy with new projects, I would really want to know that Nyssa survived and is out there somewhere till she can guest on Arrow again. As far as Talia, Evelyn and Boomerang go? I don’t mind if they didn’t survive.

Vigilante's Secret Identity To Make Sense - Arrow

Remember that crazy Vigilante that was running around in Star City in Arrow Season 5? The dude that didn’t turn out to be Adrian Chase after all?

Yeah, that guy. According to the showrunners, we’ll find out who Vigilante is this season. It has even been hinted that it’s someone we have seen before.

But just because it’s someone we know, it doesn’t mean that they can choose just anyone. Whoever is underneath that mask, I want it to make some darn sense.

I don’t want it to be some random character like Captain Pike of SCPD to have secretly been working as a vigilante. Just because of, well, some weirdly justified reasons. Whoever it is, I can’t wait to find out while praying that it makes some sense.

Happiness For Mister Terrific - Arrow

Romance is not always easy in the Arrowverse for our beloved heroes. While Curtis Holt gained a superhero identity, he also lost his husband who divorced him because of his double-life.

I totally get where Paul was coming from because, well, we have seen this in superhero stories before. But as a man of the LGBT community, I want to see a hero like Mister Terrific have it all. Simple as that.

A Victory For John Diggle - Arrow

John Diggle has always been one of my favorite characters in the whole Arrowverse. But in the last two season of Arrow, I feel that Diggle has just gone through one hell after another.

While I’m sure Diggle is going to be dealing with the aftermath of the finale; I want Arrow Season 6 to be a good year for Diggle. Whatever inner demons he is dealing with or darkness around him, I want to see overcome it.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m fully aware that most people on Arrow go through hell constantly. But someone like Diggle has just been stuck in a loop of pain for the last two seasons. That has to end.

Actual Consequences - Arrow

One of the things that I have struggled with this show is its ability to deal with stakes and consequences. Sometimes Arrow does it alright and sometimes, well, it doesn’t.

The Arrow Season 5 finale ended on the best cliffhanger of all time. I want it to have a long-lasting effect and real consequences. For heaven’s sake, Oliver’s entire team was stuck on an island that got BLOWN UP.

Given that we know who will be in the mega-crossover it seems that most of the team survived. We know Laurel Lance a.k.a. Black Siren would survive the minute Katie Cassidy got promoted to series regular again.

Deathstroke has already been revealed in trailers that he is alive too. I only expect some of the guest characters to have died in the explosion. But there still needs to be consequences for the characters that did SURVIVE.

Otherwise, what was the point of ending last season like that? I would actually want the ramifications from the finale to be something they work through in the whole season.

Arrow Quotes

I thought you took that book off your father's dead body. How could he have been so chatty?

Diggle

She was my sister. I couldn't be angry because she was dead. I couldn't grieve because I was so angry, that's what happens when your sister dies while screwing your boyfriend.
