It's got to be hard, sorting through all the belongings of a dead loved one, especially when one of you blames the other so much for the death of that loved one. This trip might be just what Scarlett and Deacon need to sort things out though, no matter how tense the journey.
Elsewhere, Deacon and Scarlett head down to Natchez to take care of Beverly's house and clean out her things. Their relationship has been through the whirlwind so far this season, so expect things to be tense. Can Deacon ever forgive Scarlett for taking Beverly off of life support?
We knew there was more to this little little concert story. Colt has never been the greatest influence on Maddie, and now that they're dating he's not getting much better. Still, it's nice to see him so happy for his girlfriend, while she performs on stage. He's not all bad!
Luke's fans might be going gaga over him, but we wonder if Rayna will be feeling the same once she hears that Maddie performed on Luke's tour? Our guess would be a big fat no. Good luck explaining that one Luke! Mama Bear Rayna does not play nice!
If there is anyone absolutely not falling from grace, it's Luke Wheeler. We still don't like that he dropped Will from his label for being gay, but Luke is using his new image consultant for all she is worth. He's a star on the rise, and he's taking serious advantage of that fact.
As much as we love to see Juliette's career taking off, the sense of doom surrounding the whole thing kind of makes us wish she would just crash and burn already. The anticipation of watching her fall from grace is almost worse than the knowledge that it's totally coming.
Juliette might be all smiles on stage and for the camera, but we know that she's playing a dangerous game, mixing drugs, alcohol, and post-partum depression. If she doesn't get it under control soon, she might be heading for a major break down where there will be no smiles in sight.
Maddie's dark and sexy little black dress is exactly the kind of thing we'd expect to see Juliette wear on stage. There might be a reason for that, since Juliette is the one who arranged this little performance in the first place. If she wasn't already on thin ice with Rayna, she surely is now!
How long have we been waiting for Maddie to make her big, center stage debut? It feels like years! Unfortunately, Maddie probably should have played it the 'all good things to those who wait' route, since this little performance was not cleared by her mother. Whoops!
This kiss might look innocent enough for the crowd, but we're worried that Markus and Rayna might end up getting a little too close for comfort in the coming weeks. They've already had a cozy plane ride to cement their friendship, and with Deacon busy mourning Beverly, it might be the worst time for a hot new artist to be spending time with Rayna.
How long has it been since we've seen Rayna on stage? Too long! Her first appearance back in front of a crowd just happens to be with rocker turned solo artist, Markus Keen, and they're both belting it like they mean it! This is one song you do not want to miss!
Now that Markus has agreed to sign on to a country label, who else thinks there are going to be some creative differences with this former rocker. Already, you can tell that he looks mighty out of place in his grunge wear nex to Rayna's country classic look. At least neither of these singers seems to mind too much!
