I think that although Gossip Girl DOES have sexual content, thats the characters and
the scriptwriters and producers.
Its not the actors idea. They're just doing their job, but I think this is a bit inappropriate.
I mean, I know that the fashion industry does some totally wacko things, but when she's so well known and quite young its a bit wrong.

You have to remember that Blake and Leighton aren't teenagers. They're grown adults and play more mature characters on the show. And for a teen drama, I think they've done ok at showing the ramafications of being overly sexual (Chuck getting his ass dumped by Blair, Nate losing Serena by sleeping with her and so on...). Taylor is still a minor and plays an innocent character that other girls feel they can relate to. She's the younger sister for crying out loud! These kinds of photos can only hurt her career.

She's not NUDE or anything. And if anything, the Rolling Stone shoot of Blake and Leighton is a lot more explicit than this. She's not putting anyone's fingers in her mouth or sucking on licorice in a way that resembles something dirty (and I LOVE Blake and Leighton, btw. I just thought the shoot was a bit off).

okay well w/e shes danced around in a bra in gossip girl , this shouldnt exactly SHOCK you. some of you are overreacting. i mean yeah thats acing but, shes already been exposed, so its not much different. thats acting, this is modeling, same concept. maybe thats what they asked her to do, she may not have said she wanted to do that but did because its like he job. i mean i dont exactly agree with either but still. and this really is a worldwide issue. its almost like sexting to me. i mean if you let them but w/e. i guess i have mixed feelings about this (: like i see why she may have done it, but i dont think she shouldve agreed to it? i guess?

Ok, I take back what I said just now in the thread above! I thought she usually was wearing very modest clothes. I see her in a lot of jackets and layers. I had no idea she was taking pics like these. I find it in very poor taste for a 15 year old. I don't care whether the show itself has sexual content. Of course it does. However, that doesn't mean that the characters are displaying themselves. Consider Brooke, for example. She has been involved in the steamiest stories on the show, yet they manage to keep her covered up even as they are depicting such things. She did a burlesque dance without the viewers seeing anything, for heaven's sake! There is no excuse for a 15 year old to be taking pictures in a little leather bra. It's silly and cheapens her.
