I have watched AI since Season 1 and David A has owned this season since day one. It was the best and most talented season so far. What happens when there is so much talent to choose from? America gets it wrong. David Cook did a wonderful job on Roberta Flack's "First Time Ever..." but usually, after each of his performances, I was left feeling "it was just another rock song", but DA? Chills with every performance. He sings from the Heart. And I am old enough to be his grandmother but I still appreciate talent when I see and hear it. He is awesome in every way. I wish them both success.

David Cook might have won the competition, but David Archuleta won the night. I don't think there was ever another night on IDOL where someone dominated as Archuleta did. I liked both finalists. It was just sad only one could win.
