I think everyone is taking this too seriousley. I love the show. I miss Washington. and will miss Knight as well. I hate either character had to leave. this show is just like all others The directors will do what they have to always at any cost to keep the show.I hope it make it another good season with the remainder characters, but do need to spice it up little, has gotten little boring at times same old thing. but to everyone enjoy the show while it last, here this season gone the next.Knight we wish you and Washington the best in your careers. Thanks for making the characters you played come alive. People who want to disagree about all this go find another show to watch or really just get a life. Life does go on, its a TV show for goodness sake.

Did T.R.Knight throw a hissy fit & have Washington fired ? If this was so all the producers had to do was stand their ground and say no, as for Knight leaving Grey's, I for one will miss him and the part he played, he was one of the cornerstones of the show, good luck T.R. & partner.

I don't understand why people got homosexuals crossed up with racism. There is nothing like calling someone the "f" word and someone calling someone the "n" word. Please stop all the madness with the comparing the two. If you're never received or been apart of racism and its fine ways then please people stop comparing the two. Gay people can act like their straight and no one would the difference, but blacks or any other race of people can't nor do they have the ability to do that. I dislike it when someone saying calling someone the gay the "f" word is like the "n" word. Wow! they aren't in the same arguement and those who think so need to work on it. Remember over 100,000,000 blacks were killed come over here to enrich this county and now their deaths are being placed in the same conversation as an actor who was abused about his sexuality.

TR Knight is a great actor and I look foward to his next gig! You go guy!

dont get me wrong i love the role of T. R. Knight... but ever since there was an issue between isaiah washington and him... and lead to a decision were isaiah has to leave. the drama became dull and boring. and while watching the fourth episode. how i wish that he was the one that was sent off instead of isaiah... but i have no problem on gay issues... just the actor issue... how i wish isaiah will be back in grey's now that T.R. Knight is gone....

TR is gay. He lied about his orientation. Why do they do that? I don't know if Mr Washington knew the guy was gay. Guys like TR Knight, you would not find he is gay until you go out drinking. That's usually when the truth comes out. It's not obvious he is gay.
Gay people; let people know you are gay. Men are going to be men and say things among other men that women would not understand. We don't talk that way around them. Nor would we talk that way around gays if we knew they are gay.

First of all, I would like to address the fact that the way knight was treated by Washington is completely unacceptable. No matter what gender, race, sexuality, ethnicity, age, or intellect, no one should be ridiculed or bullied because of who they are. It is wonderful that Knight has found someone whom he loves and he should not have to hide his relationship. He was justified in demanding fair treatment from his co-stars. Second, the fact that Washington is african american has nothing to do with his behavior and its consequences. I do not support any kind of bigotry or prejudice; whether it be against african americans, homosexuals or any other group. And if Knight had been using slurs against Washington I would favor similar actions be taken towards Knight. Nevertheless the fact of the matter is this: Washington is not the victim here. His status as a minority does not give him a free reign to persecute others. Good for Knight for taking action against prejudice.

I used to watch the show. I must admit that I found the O'Malley character kind of weak, but I thought in the last few episodes the director was going to take it in a different direction and there was some hope for redemption. I won't judge his acting skills because I don't think they really gave him much to work with. I didn't like the BFF Izzie story line after marrying Calli either, that was weak and then when Callie came out that was worst. I find it interesting that just about every show on TV today feel they have to have a same sex story line to remain interesting. Personally I believe the Word of God when he says in Leviticus 18:22 "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination". But I realize that this is a revelation that must be received in the heart of each man individually, so I continue to pray for that revelation for those who engage in that lifestyle. Some other passages that speak to this lifestyle can be found in Leviticus 20:13, 1 Cor 6:9.

  10. Find the Facts

George's character was an asset to the overall make up of the character structure and he will be missed; but there seems to be a debate as to whether or not he is reaping karma due to his part in the departure of Washingtons' character. There were rumors that Washington had become difficult and that there were problems with he and Patrick Dempsey prior to the incident with he and TR; so...the bottom line is while both characters will be missed, if you can't be a professional in a professional environment then obviously...you need to move on. Why is it so important for gays to let others know they are
gay? What is so great about being gay and going up
a duke shoot - instead of a creation canal - It is what it
is and it is a private thing that gays like to brag about,
it is recruitment to me - I know a lot of gay people and
they love to talk about getting a straigt guy away from
women. Just to be gay means to think in a diffrent way.
I bet all gay people would be afraid to "gather" you
know what they would do and you know what God would do.
A lot of them but not all have such a problem with God
and that is what I have a problem with them.

By the way, glad to see him go! He's come across as a spoiled brat and selfish! Knight as an actor is not all that!!!!!!!

  13. TGL

LC - what country do you live in? In any business no matter what it is, the possibility of a Law Suite will get anyone who uses any type of slur fired. No matter if you say you were joking or not. If I could easily call you a dumb nigg and say I'm sorry I was joking and WTF would be your response. Get a clue. BTW I don't even watch this show or know any of the characters...I just saw the story and saw all these assanine comments.

  14. gina

I can't believe there are those who exalt this person. He's gay--so what!!!!! That's his issue and will have to deal with it. My problem is how he made such a stink about Isaih Washington when he was on the show and was instrumental in ruing Washington's career. And now he walks away from his lucrative career on Grey's Anatomy!!!!!!!??????? And with a 19 year old boy...yes, boy!!!!! Unbelievable how there are double standards! Rules apply to some and obviously not to others. And no, what happened is not TV. This is real life!!!!

  15. LC

Turn around is fair play. He hurt Washington's career and now watch what will happen to his. Washington should have never been fired. I'm sure the black producer felt that way, and her hands was tried because she was black. If he had called washington the " N" word and then said he was sorry, he would have still been working on the show. We as americans have not come as far as we would like to think. All I can say is what comes around goes around. I stop wathcing the show after Washington left. I say All Black people should stop watching this show, and stop supporting the Advertisers of this show.

Hey People its TV, its what ever the director says, take a deep breath and come back to reality!!!

  17. Good for him

I am glad that he decided to leave the show. In my opinion, so what if he is a good actor. Isaih Washington is a good actor as well and when he called him a name he admitted that he was joking. If the table would have been on the other foot no one would have said anything. But it what it is.

  18. Carol

I loved his character on Greys. He will be missed. I don't think he caused Washington's dismissal. Washington did that to himself. At least T R Knight went out as a hero.

  19. uklover

Glad ur gone must be an African American bigot. She thinks Washington was fired because TR Knight did it. She forgets or maybe is in denial that he was let go because of the homophobic slurs, negative names Washington called TR Knight. It was just as like if TR Knight called Washington the n word.

greys anatomy lover: stop worrying about people worrying about gays! why do you have to exclaim to all that you aren't gay? it's hollywood...they expect that...you on the other hand might need to find your inner feelings on this matter. peace and hair grease to all, but you in hollywierd should expect public scrutiny about all of your dealings in life, especially your sexual preferences!

  21. greys anatomy lover

WHO CARES ABOUT HIS SEXUALITY! HE IS A GREAT ACTOR, I WILL MISS HIM ON THE SHOW. IF SOMEONE IS GAY OR LESBIAN THAT IS THEIR LIFE. GO LIVE YOURS AND BE HAPPY AND STAY OUT OF OTHER BUSINESS. PEOPLE NOW DAYS ARE TOO BUSY WORRYING ABOUT WHAT SOMEONE ELSE IS DOING. WORRY ABOUT YOURSELF! I WISH HIM AND HIS FRIEND THE BEST OF LUCK IN THEIR RELATIONSHIP. I AM STRAIGHT MYSELF AND I SUPPORT THE GAY COMMUNITY.

  22. Glad ur gone

I'm glad he's gone especially after he got Isaiah Washington fired, the show had not been all that great since, Thank goodness he left the way he did ugly....

  23. Elizabeth D

Wow, I just followed a link on the lead yahoo story and found out TR is gay. I'm afraid I must work too much! I'll miss the character he plays on the show and I wish him the best of luck. His friend Mark should consider acting -- he's a cutie.
    Thanks TR!

  24. Susan MacVicar

He was my favorite Grey's character and I hated the way he died...
    Good Luck, TR
