Meredith awakes, Derek's side of the bed is empty. Derek fits a sterotactic head fram onto John Driscoll. An orderly slides Mr. Driscoll into the scanner. Derek studies the images of the brain scaon on the computer and dictates notes into a recorder, and then checks his calculations on a laptop. They see the patient wheeled into the OR. Derek and Alex begin the procedure on Mr. Driscoll. Alex opens the sealed packet, it's the placebo.

Richard tells Bailey to include Ellis Grey's method in her tweets during her surgery tomorrow. Arizona walks in as Callie sits on the couch. Callie and Arizona make out and things get steamy. Mark tells Lexie news that really upsets her and Lexie walks out. Derek tells Meredith to do something for his next surgery.
