Poor Jay. Old man just wanted to spend some romantic time with his wife. But Gloria's surprise is one of the funniest scenes ever. Nothing says "romance" like the entire family celebrating your b'day together, right? Right?!

The writers always do a good job of setting up scenes and storylines for each character on this show. "All you need is love" is one of the best examples of this, especially Jay and Manny, and Lily's panic over losing her bunny.

Yes, the episode was underwhelming, but even an underwhelming Modern Family is better than most sitcoms out there. As far as the dads, ultimately, they were proud of their sons, and isn't that what matters? This show always brings a smile around my house. We watch clips just to crack each other up.

Luckily after missing the premier episode of Californication season 5, was able to watch online at xfinitytv. Again Californication is ready to bang with season 5 on Jan 08. 4 seasons have gone and Hank moody is still trying to get out from New York. He gets the chance with new job offered by Charlie. He joined up with Karen, her ex- professor, husband Richard, and his daughter Becca who seems to be another Hank in the making. Don’t worry if you miss any of the episodes, watch californication online at XfinityTV
