The one you drank won't cure your heart but it will lessen the effects of seven cold and flu symptoms. Don't worry, it's non-drowsy.

A thief that steals from those in need has no honor.

Robin Hood

You are quite possibly the biggest pain in the ass I have ever had the displeasure of writing about.

The Author

I am only the savior because you altered the entire state of my being at the expense of someone else's soul.

Emma

Daredevil: You knew which side you were on the moment you found me. Why'd you help me Claire?
Claire: I'm a nurse. Work the ER at Metro-General. A few weeks ago, cops bring in three men. Said they were robbing tourists, beating them up pretty bad. Apparently, a man in a black mask took issue with their activities and decided to step in. I counted nine broken bones between them. A few days after that, EMTs bring in a 19-year-old waitress, said some guy she knew waited for her after work in the parking lot, attacked her... tried to drag her in the alley. She said she screamed and screamed, and a man in a black mask heard her and he saved her life. So, yeah, word's getting around.

Matt: There's someone in the building, a man, going from door to door.
Claire: How do you know that?
Matt: Shh. He's on the third floor already. Smells like Prima cigarettes and discount cologne.
Claire: You can smell a man on the third floor?
Matt: You'll smell him soon enough. He really likes that cologne.

Claire: Are you going to listen to me this time?
Matt: Where am I?
Claire: You're in my apartment.
Matt: Who are you?
Claire: I'm the lucky girl who pulled you out of the garbage.
Matt: You've seen my face.
Claire: Yeah.
Matt: Great.
Claire: Your outfit kind of sucks, by the way.
Matt: Yeah, it's a work in progress.

Claire: You bastard. You had to get your pound of flesh, didn't you?
Duke: Merely quid pro quo. Surely you're familiar with the term. Merely this for that.

Jamie: Claire, before I go, I advise you to stay well clear of Geillis Duncan.
Claire: Do you think Colum intends to punish her, too?
Jamie: I think his wrath will be heading her direction next.

Geillis: You can come out now, Claire. I thought I heard a rustling in the bushes. But then again, I always like to imagine someone's watching me. You could have joined me, you know, but you English are a prudish people. It's really quite nice in spite of the chill.
Yes, it looked like you were enjoying yourself just fine.
Claire: It was the icy wind, whispering over my nipples. It makes them harden like acorns.
Geillis: So I can see. And you're pregnant. Congratulations.

Claire: Before I go, there's just one question I'd like to ask of you.
Duke: Just one question to so far a lady.
Claire: How much Jacobite gold did Dougal MacKenzie pass along to you?

Jamie: Come back to me Jamie Fraser
Claire: As soon as I can.
