Hey, ya think it's OK to get a guy all worked up and then leave?! You're a freakin' mess lady!!

Not Wade

Norma, you need to come. Norman is losing it, OK. I don't know what to do with him. Mom, please.

Dylan

Norman: Dylan, none of this is your fault. I'll go with you to talk with her if you want me to. I'll try and help if I can.
Dylan: I can't ask you to do that. I mean, if I get thrown out of the house, that's on me, but I can't drag you into it.
Norman: I feel like this is partly my fault. There's something wrong with me. I wanted to destroy you because you were getting close to her and I hate that person. I'm a man now, not her little boy and I want to be a good man. I trust your judgment if you think this is the right thing to do.

This is the first time since I moved to this crummy town that I have anybody by the short hairs. I'm gettin' something out of it.

Norma

Come on. I'll give you a lift. I'm going right near where you live... Where do you live?

James

Chick: Caleb!! Look. At. Me. Life is shit. There is only one thing that makes it better. Boar jerky.
Caleb: [chuckles] What the hell is wrong with you, man?
Chick: Everything.

Oh, and uh, the password to the WiFi is MOTHER, all caps.

Emma

You're telling me two people are lying in the morgue and the town is now better for it?

Romero

Norman: What the hell's going on here, Dylan? Does mom know he's here? Is this what you two have been whispering about? Is she allowing this?
Dylan: No, we...we've been talking about you. We're concerned about you. About your state of mind.
Norman: Well I'm not the one harboring my mother's rapist!

It just happened. You know, she was more than a sister to me. I mean she was my whole world, my whole life, and I loved her. You can't help who you love, but your mom? She was smarter than me. One day, she came home and said it was bad, you know, we couldn't, anymore. And the way she looked at me, I couldn't breathe. You know, I loved her more than anything and I just couldn't let her go. I hate myself for it. I know I don't deserve it, but I wish I could say I'm sorry. That's all I want. She doesn't have to forgive me, I just want to tell her I'm sorry before I never have another chance.

Caleb

Dylan: What if Norma had seen you?
Caleb: Look, what if she had? OK, I'm a human being. Is that a crime? She's the one who won't talk to me. She's the one who's being irrational.
Dylan: I don't think it's irrational to not want to talk to the guy who raped her.
Caleb: Look, you don't understand, Dylan. You never will! I'm helping you out. Maybe you haven't noticed, but you don't know what you're doing.
Dylan: I think I do!
Caleb: If I didn't come out here and come along, you would have been standing in a pile of collapsed lumber!
Dylan: No one asked you to come here, OK! No one's making you do this!
Caleb: Then why don't you tell me to leave?! Tell me to leave! [falls off the roof]
Dylan: Caleb!!!

I'm not thinking about that. Today I'm living. Get on board Bates.

Bates Motel Season 3 Quotes

Oh and by the way? My mother died. Here's your lunch.

Norma

Dylan: Norman's 18. He should not be sleeping in the same bed as his mom.
Norma: You're overreacting. He just fell asleep. It's not a big deal.
