Paul: If you tell, it'll be the final nail in the coffin for her and me.
Melanie: Except there is no you and her.
Paul: And then Terese will stay with Toadie, which is terrible for you because everyone can see you're still in love with him. You are in the perfect position to get what we both want. And then by this time next Christmas, everything will be back to the way it's supposed to be.
