Marlena: No no, I don't think we need to go that far. It's obvious that Eric is very attached to her, so I think we've got to give her the benefit of the doubt, for his sake.
Brady: For his sake. Of course.
Marlena: Yeah. Since Eric is clearly very fond of her, she must have some redeeming qualities.
Brady: I hope so. I just don't see how my presence at the dinner is going to uplift her spirits at all.
