Inez babysits Javier for them while Gary goes on a work retreat and Maggie starts her job back at the radio station.  Maggie is put off by the baby voice that Inez keeps using and her critifcism of Magge's way of doing things including not using a pacifier.

When Maggie gets to the job, Colton tells her that he's moving her to Saturdays and will keep Jessica on during the week. She feels that he's deliberately punishing her for going on maternity leave and calls him out on it. She also sees Jessica in the hallway and goes after her for telling her that her job will be there when she gets back.

Maggie returns home an is angry when she learns that Inez gave Javier a paciifier against her wishes and goes off on her as well. She tells Gary about it later and feels bad. But she also finds herself using the pacifier to soothe Javier anyway.

She doesn't think Inez will forgive her or come back but she does becuase that's what family does.

Maggie overhears that they're advertising a dangerous supplment as a cure for depression. She doesn't realize it but Jessica is also concerned about this as well and talks to Colton about it who calls himself putting her in her place. When a patient asks about it, Jessica talks about how dangerous it is and that it's pseudo science junk.

Colton is angry because they lose the advertisers. Maggie apologizes to Jessica and confronts Colton, and they arrange for her and Maggie to both be cohosts for the show or they'll take their followings elsewhere and it also means that Maggie gets to spend more time with Javier too.

Rome's brother stops by to visit and they argue consistently about Walter's care. Initailly, Omare doesn't beilieve that Walter is as bad as Rome says until Walter briefly forgets who Omar is.

But then they butt heads about putting Walter in assisted living and also with how they'll pay for it. Rome want to sell the house. They cokntine to argue and bicker, something that upsets Walter and Gina tries to mediate and reminds Rome that he always babies his brother and has left Omar out of things.

The boys eventually make up and decided to rent out the house to pay for the assisted living which Walter also agrees with.

Eddie has a big presentation coming up. His professor still isn't nice to him, and he talks to Nicole about it when he has lunch with her at her desk. Professor Kraft seems them having lunch and retalitaites. She tells Eddie that she'll report him and Nicole to the Dean and Nicole will lose her job and then makes him give his presentation even though he's not prepared for it right then becuase she changed up the order.

Eddie stumbles through his presentation. He talks to Nicole about what happens and then goes to PRofessor Kraft later to drop her class. She tells him that she talked to Nicole who told her the full truth of how she and Eddie know each other and what happened, and she apologies to him and let's him make up his presentation and promises to help him get that degree so he can be a counselor.

Katherine is nervous to seee Greta's parents again but they're warm and loving and welcome Katherine with open arms. They don't hold a grudge about the past becuase they undestand that she was a teen who wasn't ready yet.

Katherine wonders who she would have been if she had parents like them.

She notices that they're bickering and fighting when she intrudes on a private moment and tells Greta about it, but Greta doesn't think anything is wrong. Later her parents share that they're getting divorced when Greta finds a notification from her father' sdating profile when using his phone.

Greta has a hard time accepting that her perfect parents aren't in love anymore and wonders if that will be them but Katherine reassures her.

Eddie celebrates a great presentation with Nicole when he gets a call from Danny that Charlie isn't doing good and needs help.
