Eric and his friends are at a party with underage drinking when the cops show up.

The police officers then breathalyzes the teenagers, which reveals Eric has been drinking.

Eric pleads with the officer not to give him a citation and upon realizing the officer is Claire's brother, he asks the officer to look the other way.

Nate calls Claire, and she corroborates Eric's story, asking her brother not to cite him.

Claire goes and picks Eric up and tells him she can't tell anyone about the favor her brother did him.

The following day, Eric apologizes to Claire at school, while his friends are confused why he wasn't cited.

When Claire arrives at Eric's house for tutoring later in the week, she surprises him and takes him to UT instead.

At UT, Claire and Eric run into Logan's brother, who invites them to a fraternity party.

They go and talk about their dysfunctional families.

Eric says he's never met his father, while Claire reveals she had to care for her alcoholic father in college.

When Eric gets home, his mother comments how nice it was for Claire to take him.

Later, Eric thanks Claire and kisses her at school.

Claire rebuffs his advances and tells him to leave.
