When you watch Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 5 Episode 11, there is much rejoicing as Team Coulson returns to the present day, whole and intact and mostly in one piece. They realize that they are still in The Lighthouse, albeit the past (present?) Lighthouse, having only moved in time rather than space. But they haven't forgotten their job, their duty. And when a mysterious light appears in the sky, one that seems alien in origin, they decide to investigate, despite the profound personal risk to them. The only one to stay behind is Daisy, who wants to stay away from any potential world-ending on her part. Only there's something else that she will have to deal with herself.
