"Protect the Coven" opens up with a flashback to how Delphine developed her blood lust. It started with killing chicken and later that same day she tied up an injured man in her attic. In present day New Orleans, she helps a hurt gardener by tying him up in the attic and cutting off his toes.

Spalding finds Delphine and offers her help in killing Marie Laveau if she gets him a doll he wants. She does it and he gives her Benedryl to reverse Marie Laveau's immortality.

Fiona and Marie Laveau meet with the Witch Hunters and instead of making a deal, the Axeman kills them all.

Cordelia pokes out her eyes in order to get her second sight back. She believes she needs it to help save the Coven.

After Nan's death, Zoe figures out that Fiona and Marie Laveau killed the student. Myrtle convinces Zoe to run away with Kyle. Zoe hesitates at first, but she boards a bus with Kyle to Orlando.

Spalding knocks out Marie Laveau and she falls down the stairs. He tells Delphine to bury the Voodoo Queen deep in the ground. He then takes the baby and now has a "live doll" of his own.
