Recap

On Archer Season 8 Episode 2, Cheryl Vandertunt, publishing heiress, offers Sterling Archer $10000 (and her body) to help her fake her death, in order to get away from her family. Cheryl, anticipating the need for a replacement body to pull off the ruse, brings her deceased maid in the trunk of her car.

Archer figures that the maid, who they call Berenice, should be dressed as Cheryl, so they take her back to Cheryl's hotel. Cheryl and Archer banter and argue, and sleep together after Cheryl gets turned on after trying to slap Archer.

After sleeping together, Cheryl and Archer talk about Woodhouse and how his office got broken into. Cheryl asks Archer who would have known that he was out of his office.

Meanwhile, Len Trexler simultaneously comforts and scoffs at Dutch Dylan (Barry), who now has a double below-knee amputation. He makes a call to someone who can help "fix" Dylan; the call goes to Krieger, who speaks German on the phone.

Len Trexler also confronts Figgis and Poovey, whom he had paid to look the other way while his human trafficking deal went down at the docks. He challenges them to find out what happened to the women he "imported." Figgis wonders whether Mother has something to do with it, and heads over to the Dreamland nightclub.

Archer, considering Cheryl's insight, goes to Dreamland to find out if Mother had anything to do with his office being ransacked; Mother denies it. As he's leaving, he runs into Lana Kane, who brushes him off as he stammers to say hello.

Cheryl and Archer continue off to fake Cheryl's death with a staged car accident. Cheryl thinks they're being followed, but Archer dismisses her. However, as they start moving the body, Figgis and Poovey catch them.

Archer: No, they make up the Hispanic or Negro.
Cheryl: I honestly wouldn't know where to begin.

Cheryl: I want a drink!
