Britten and Vega investigate the potential murder of an assistant on a boat. While there Britten runs into Rex’s old babysitter Kate.
In the green reality, Britten and Freeman investigate the murder of a wealthy man. He again follows the chain of evidence and finds Kate, this time as a drug addict.
While Kate in the red reality eventually helps Britten with the investigation, her green self ends up being part of the murder.
Meanwhile, Rex continues his grieving process and ends up getting in a fight with his best friend after he accidentally breaks one of Hannah’s tennis rackets.
