Recap

As a storm begins, Maggie leaves Ben a message. It's her third one today. She's trying to give him space but she's concerned about his safety during the storm.

The hospital is getting overcrowded. Sharon says the people won't survive the night if they aren't allowed to stay here. Archer says but he is short staffed and there is little room. Sharon promises reinforcements are coming. The lights flash on and off and Archer thinks that's an omen.

Will and Grace are asked to look at a patient who fell out of a third story window trying to vent a gas stove. She has a young nephew, Lucas, with her. She has bleeding somewhere. Lucas tells Will that they were getting dizzy and his aunt was trying to let in fresh air.

Grace is a bit slow. They do an ultrasound and try to find out why her pressure is falling. Her pelvis is shattered. They get a binder on her and pressure begins to come up. Then the power goes out.

Emergency backup has kicked in so Sharon says to get back to work. She wants Maggie to get the homeless people together in one area.

A homeless guy talks to Charles and says he takes his lithium "pretty much" regularly. Maggie asks to talk to Charles. She says that Felix needs to go to a bed in the entranceway despite  Charles saying it's a bad idea.

Zac calls Archer over. There is a patient that Sean brought in. Archer started lecturing Sean about not breaking the probation rules. He's called to see a patient -- a pregnant woman who may be in labor, and Hannah is not around.

Grace tells Will that she ran an algorithm and the patient's odds of survival are 7% and they think they should just keep her comfortable since there are limited supplies during the storm. Will doesn't like the idea and is not going to listen.

Maggie discovers that Felix has been stabbed.

Marcel can't get a scanner to work. He takes Felix up to CT. Charles comes in and asks what happened.

Dayton is stranded in the hospital. A security guy wants to evacuate the hospital. Sharon says no. She wants to inform the staff. Jack says but there might be a lunatic in the hospital. The storm knocks down a wall and Sharon says she is not sending people out in this storm.

Asher is on her way but the roads are a mess. She advises Archer over the phone what to do.

Zac tells Archer he has lab results for Sean's friend. Archer is upset and tells Sean to come with him. Clint's lab work shows he is high on numerous substances. Archer accuses Sean of using too.

In surgery, Will's patient starts crashing. Will wants to continue to work on her. Another doctor says it's impossible.

Marcel wants to use OR 2.0 to try to remove the knife from Felix's liver. Doris remarks poor Felix. Maggie snaps at her that it isn't her fault and runs away.

Archer's patient crashes and Archer wonders where Asher is.

Asher finds a man in a car in the snow. While rescuing him, she opens a car door and the car explodes.

Asher checks on the patient. He's okay, but the military police guy Asher was with got hit and is bleeding. He has a tourniquet on him. Asher wants to take him to the hospital. Her phone doesn't work.

Lucas asks Will if his aunt will get better. He says it's his fault. She was lighting the stove because he was cold. He says he is sorry. Grace wants to loosen the pelvic binder now but Dr. Davis was not on board. She'll do it herself.

Cameras never came back online. The security guy thinks the stabber is long gone. He wants to do a walkthrough.

Maggie is upset. She says she was the one who insisted on putting him in the entranceway. Charles orders her to get some rest.

OR 2.0 informs Marcel he's too fatigued to continue. Another doctor says Dayton has changed the code so this can't be overridden. Marcel's resident says he can do it. Marcel relucantly lets Tanaka take it.

Katie needs to be induced. Doris says it will be another hour. Archer says he's going to go get her himself. Katie has gone into labor.  Sean is hanging around as Archer goes into Katie's room.

Asher checks on the two injured people while sitting in the car. She has to take care of Paul with tools from a toolbox (of course.) She is going to make an  airtight patch for the hole in Paul's lung.

Dr. Davis says this is the last of the blood supply. Grace says they don't have a choice. She does the procedure and pressure comes back up.

Maggie calls Ben yet again. Someone bangs on the door. It's a frozen homelees woman who slipped on the ice and has been outside a few hours. Maggie goes to get a wheelchair.

Asher sees a car pull up and honks. It's Sean.

Katie's baby has been born and has to be taken to the NICU. It's standard procedure. Zac is all excited. Doris says Hannah is on her way in.

Zac goes to see the homeless woman. She freaks out and says he's smiling and hovering too much. She pulls out a knife. Maggie grabs her wrist and the security people come running in.

Charles tries to explain that Heidi has paranoid schizophrenia and has been off her meds for years.

Marcel talks to Dayton. He's upset about the fatigue alarm. Dayton disagrees. He says the scanner Marcel couldn't get to work earlier works fine. He thinks Marcel didn't realize how fatigued he was.

Hannah brings her patients in. Archer asks how she got here. He is surprised to learn that Sean rescued her.

Some obnoxious surgeon yells at Grace and Will that he didn't have enough blood for his procedure because they "wasted" it on one person. Grace tells Will that the guy was right and she shouldn't have let the kid influence her decision making instead of relying on data.

Archer asks his son for a ride home.

Maggie tells Charles things aren't great but she doesn't want to talk about it. She decides to go home. Ben shows up. He's sorry it took him so long. They hug and kiss.
