Annie decides to run for campus president when Dean Pelton decides to reinstate the student government in expectation of a visit by VP Biden.

Intent on proving to her that politics are ridiculous, Jeff runs against her.

When it appears Jeff is going to win, Annie releases a tape of him auditioning for the Real World, which causes Jeff to run off upset.  Annie feels guilty and drops out of the race, leading to a win for the cartoon South Park.

Abed and Troy commentate on the campaign, while the Secret Service investigates Abed for having recognized them. A female agent takes a special interest in Abed, trying to find something on him so that she can see him more. Abed throws her a bone in the form of a verbal slip during his on-air commentating, causing the agent to have to return and canceling the Vice President's visit.

Pierce runs for president also, only because he is at odds with a girl who wouldn't lend him a pencil.  He harasses her throughout the debate, forcing her to resign. She ends up stabbing him in the face with a pencil.
