The episode opened with a brother and sister playing hide-n-seek in the front yard, while the brother is counting the little girl hides across the street and a van pulls up where a man ask the little girl if he has seen another little girl indicated on a picture.
The Brother finishes counting to 100 and cannot find his sister. We then are in the team’s meeting room where Cooper walks in and tells his team the details of the case and they were heading to Cleveland. As the team heads out Cooper stops to talk to Director Fickler who has concerns about Pending Agent Simms who had previously shot a suspect and went to jail before getting a full pardon. Cooper reassures him and the team heads out.
Once in Cleveland the team starts to gather evidence. A distraught woman begging to see someone is noticed by Agent Griffith and she quickly told her about her daughter having gone missing 8 days before. Griffith asked her to meet her at the 62nd precinct a little later.
With some very basic detective work they found that four girls had gone missing in the last 9 months and three of them a witness saw a light blue van driving away. With the help of Penelope Garcia from the main office they find that a man named David Scourfield had a daughter who fit the description of three of the missing girls and that the fourth was taken as a playmate to the third one.
The team went to Scourfield’s house and when they broke down the door they found he was gone with the two missing girls. Again Penelope Garcia came through and found his grandparents had left him a house and some land. They agents go out to the land where Pending Agent Simms is the first to find Scourfield and tried to talk him into putting the gun down and instead Scourfield turns it on himself.
The girls are rescued and Pending Agent Simms becomes Special Agent Simms when the team gets back to their headquarters where Director Fickler was waiting for them.
