Josh is tailing his mother Jeannette and her drug dealer. Her dealer and another man stab Jeannette to death. The team arrives but Josh can't be located. There is also an Asian female victim who had been strangled. Josh gets Max's message at his old homestead. Milton consoles Josh, who points out there's skin under Jeannette's fingernails. Folsom protests Max's keeping him off the investigation. Allie is running the investigation. Beau finds the heroin blend on the plastic wrap that was around the second woman's neck. Max's description of one suspect reminded Serena of the two people of interest she had looked up for Josh: Sammy Caldwell and Jared Ott. Max recalled that Folsom had a copy of the same file. Josh bails out Trey, who knows exactly where to go. Trey meets with Kahn Schefter at a strip club. Serena has Ott picked up. Beau identifies jet fuel on the shrink wrap. Max determines Ott and Caldwell had their mule smuggle in drugs and Jeannette would hide them in a broken slot machine. Ott won't roll on his boss. Trey knocks out Schefter then tracks his last received text from the airport. He brings Schefter to Josh, who is snooping at the airport. Max figures out Ott was too weak to be the killer. Folsom slashes Schefter's arm and threatens to let him bleed out if he doesn't say who killed Jeannette. The shipping label on the shrink wrap was addressed to druglord Raphael Tarquenio. Schefter gives up the nickname of Tarquenio's nephew then passes out. Folsom awakens him then shows him Jeannette's blood pack he had drained. Then he finds scratch marks on Schefter's arm. The team arrives at the airport to find the box cutter Josh left for them. Allie finds Schefter in a dumpster. Serena arrests Folsom.
