Dancing with the Stars Season 19 Episode 1 begins with a fun opening number involving the entire cast-- including the judges. We get brief introductions of each couple with small glimpse of their training before moving right into their dances.

Julianne Hough is a new judge this season and seems to fit in well. She even manages to hit on three of the contestants -- including Tommy Chong.

Dances tonight are fun but difficult ones-- each contestant either dances the Jive, the Cha Cha, or the Foxtrot.

At the top of the leader board tonight Alfonso Riberio, who you may know best as Carlton Banks from The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. He scored 9's across the board for a total score of 36-- an impressively rare score for a first night!

And at the bottom is Betsey Johnson, who scored straight 5's despite her spunky attitude and cartwheel with a split. Also at the bottom is Lolo Jones, who let a mishap at the beginning of her dance ruin her whole night.
