After the battle with the Volge newly hired Lawkeeper Nolan has his hands full as the Castithans hold a religious ceremony to punish the coward Elah Bandik. Meanwhile, the Indogene Ben Daris escapes from the medical center and heads underground to Old St. Louis where Rafe and Nolan follow him to stop him from setting off a huge bomb.
