- Quinn and Batista found more evidence that Gellar is The Doomsday Killer, via a journal he kept that a former teacher's assistant still has. Quinn slept with this assistant, too.
- Dexter tracked down Travis and was ready to kill him, until Travis said he never did any actual killings. Only Gellar did. Dexter proceeded to let him go.
- Deb started to undergo therapy for her shooting and also rented her own place by the beach.
- Brother Sam was shot multiple times in his garage after coming home from a night of bonding with Dexter.
