Dynasty Season 1 Episode picked up the night of Cristal and Blake's wedding and coincidentally, Matthew's death. 

With everyone pointing fingers the Carrington's for the murder, Blake forces them all to put on a united front. 

Crisal is told to erase any traces of her relationship with Matthew, which includes pushing down any emotions and feelings. 

At one point, they even force her to announce his death to the media as her first official duty as COO. 

When Willy, Matthew's friend, tells Cristal to be careful around the Carrington's, she too becomes suspicious of Blake. 

He denies the murder and to save the narrative, hosts the whole funeral.

He also tries to pay off Claudia, Matthew's widow, who is suffering from memory loss following a car accident last year. 

Cristal finally proves she's Team Carringotn by firing Willy, who almost drunkely reveals her relationship with Matthew to the press. 

Fallon spends her time trying to erase any record of the email linking Cristal and Matthew.

Jeff Colby, her new business partnet tries to help her out, even after Blake sends the cops to question him about the murder. 

In a shocking twist, Steven is arrested by the FBI for the murder. 

Anders confronts Cristal about her big secret, revealing that her name is really Celia Machado.
