Cookie and Lucious try to get money for the company. 

Lucious goes to a poker game but has to sell a painting to get the buy-in. 

Once there, he makes friends with someone called Damon, who he later saves when gunmen show up at the poker game. 

It's later revealed that Lucious was the one who orchestrated the whole thing. When he goes to get the painting back, someone has bought it. 

We learn it was Damon. 

In a flash-forward, we learn that Damon and Cookie were close to one another and that Cookie did not die. 

Meanwhile, Cookie confronted Maya who was not returning her calls and later found out the youngster was transporting drugs for her boyfriend. 

Maya ultimately told Cookie to leave her alone and that she was staying with her boyfriend whether she liked it or not. 

Jamal lied to Becky about being engaged and got caught red handed.
