Mark Salling Speaks on Glee Relationships, Future Storylines

As the character of Puck on Glee, Mark Salling has gone from a stereotypical jock to a (mostly) enthusastic member of the singing group.

We're forever jealous of the actor for getting to make out with Lea Michele a couple weeks ago, but we're willing to let that slide in exchange for insight into future storylines.

That's exactly what Salling delivered in a recent TV Guide interview. A few excerpts from it...

How will Finn react when he learns Puck knocked up Quinn?
I think he'll be devastated. He's invested a lot already into the idea of fathering this child. Hopefully, Puck will step up to the plate and practice what he preaches and walk the walk.

Quinn and Puck

Will the baby drama affect the glee club?
It can't be good for us. Some people can't be around each other anymore. It might throw the dynamic off; it's not a good thing. That's what happens when you dip your pen in the company ink.

Can you give us a second half season preview?
The writers are seeing what worked and what didn't with the first 13 [episodes]. I know we'll have more themed episodes, like the Madonna one. There are a lot of surprises to come.

Glee (finally!) returns with a new episode next week.

Matthew Morrison to Release Solo Album

These days, news regarding Glee music is as popular as the show itself.

The Fox comedy's soundtrack hits stores this week, while Matthew Morrison (Will Schuester) has now confirmed that he's preparing a solo album.

"I’ve almost finalized a record deal and am going to be working on an album," the former Broadway hunk told Access Hollywood. "I would consider it a classier Justin Timberlake album."

Co Directors

Morrison compared his sound to "Timberlake meets Michael Buble," saying the CD will include a big orchestra.

Prior to creating nationwide buzz on Glee, Morrison appeared in Broadway productions of Footloose, The Rocky Horror Show, Hairspray, South Pacific and The Light in the Piazza. He was nominated for a Tony Award for the latter.

Will you purchase a Morrison solo album?

Wheelchairs Galore on Glee!

We love the Yankees, and we love World Series baseball, but we don't love the fact that Fox is airing the Fall Classic this year.

That means no new Glee episode until November 11! Sigh.

Fortunately, we can at least give fans a sneak peek at what's to come on the installment "Wheels." It focuses on Quinn and Puck's relationship; while also letting Artie take center stage.

Click on photos below to an early look at scenes from the episode; and remember to visit our Glee music section each week for the latest singles from this incredible series!

Lea Michele Speaks on "Rachel's Journey" on Glee

She may have starred in Spring Awakening, a Tony Award-winning play on Broadway, but nothing coud have prepared Lea Michele for Glee.

The show is the most buzzed-about, critically-praised, fun-loving hour on television - and Michele's Rachel Berry is at the center of almost every episode.

The adorable young star has handled the attention well, however, and she gave TV Guide Magazine a preview of what's to come for her character in an interview this week:

On Rachel's future: What I have learned is just how much this is Rachel’s journey to becoming a team player and learning who she is within this group. You look at Rachel and realize that she is not someone who needs help speaking her mind. This Glee club allows all of the kids to use their voice and let the voice inside of them come out.

On upcoming scenes/duets: I have wonderful scenes and storylines with Chris Colfer. I beg them to write stuff between me and Kurt because I think he is so talented. When you are acting opposite someone who is really good, it’s like you’re eating the best meal or playing an incredible tennis match. I love working with him.

And Amber Riley, I have gotten to sing some incredible songs with her. She gives me the chills. I praise the ground she walks on, she is so gifted. We did “Halo” together, and we actually did a Barbra Streisand-Celine Dion song that they didn’t end up using on the show.

That's very sad to hear. But take a look at our Glee music section to see which singles were used on the show and to purchase them off iTunes!

Glee Co-Star Promises More of Finn and Rachel

For weeks, it's all most Glee fans have been hoping: a relationship between Finn and Rachel.

But the show took a surprising turn last episode, as Rachel actually made out with Puck and many viewers grew enamored by this all-Jewish combination.

Suddenly, a battle between Team Finn and Team Puck has broken out. At whom do you wanna see Rachel bat her lovely eyes?

According to Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Puck will help out his (secret) baby mama on the next new episode, which airs on November 11. He even comes close to kissing Quinn, which leaves the following tease for Rinn (Fachel?) supporters:

"All I can say is Finn definitely has some major decisions to make, and Finn and Quinn aren't exactly on the best of terms. So you may see some more of that [between Finn and Rachel]."

Which side are you on, Gleeks? Team Finn or Team Puck?

Like a Prayer Come True: Glee Cast Considers Madonna Singles

In a set of interviews with E! News this week, Glee cast members spoke on what Madonna songs they'd love to see featured on thew Fox hit.

These wishes aren't like a prayer, however: they may actually come true!

The show has received permission from the Material Girl to use any single in her catalog, and producers are seriously pondering an all-Madonna episode some time in 2010.

"I really think it would be awesome if Kurt did 'Don't Cry for Me Argentina' from Evita," said Kevin McHale, who plays Artie, and is featured prominently on the November 11 episode. "He could go on top of the school with his arms outstretched. That would be hilarious."

McHale, pictured, added: "I just can't wait to see Amber [Riley, who plays Mercedes] do a Madonna song. I know she's going to rip it apart."

Without stuttering like her character Tina, Jenna Ushkowitz said:

"I'm really excited to see what everybody sings and how they'll tie into the storyline... I would love to do 'Frozen' in a cape in the middle of the desert."

What Madonna songs do you think belong in the Glee music section?

Josh Groban Confirms Return to Glee

Great news, Sandy: you'll get at least one more chance to make a good impression on Josh Groban.

The singer has confirmed a return to Glee last this season.

“I think I’m going to come back and do one more episode,” Groban told Access Hollywood this week. “We’ll see what happens... I had a great time with that cast, coming from a theater background... being a member of the choir club as a kid, just to see that group of people being represented in mainstream culture is really, really so great.”

Glee Guest Star

In September, Groban appeared on the Fox smash, playing a jerky version of himself. He didn't treat former glee director Sandy - the singer's number-one, stalker-like fan - very well on the episode "Acafellas."

No word yet on what might bring him back into the fold.

Meanwhile, we can also confirm that Kristin Chenoweth is close to signing on to reprise her role as April Rhodes on the series. The news just keeps getting better, doesn't it, Glee fans?!?

Glee Spoilers: A Scheming Sue Sylvester

While Glee won't return until November with new episodes, the short hiatus should at least give Will time to think about ways to combat a newly-inspired Sue Sylvester.

After all, for those that missed this week's installment, Sue got humiliated by her lover/co-worker and this is how she now "sees" it: her mission is to bring down the glee club!

How will she accomplish that task? Matthew Morrison tells TV Guide:

"Sue's going to give our set list to the other teams [at sectionals]. They're going to do our songs... before we do them, so it's going to make us look like we're copying them."

A Glee Feud

Caught off guard, the William McKinley singers must step up their game.

"We have to do this impromptu thing and fly by the seat of our pants," said Morrison, who wouldn't reveal anything else. We can say this, however:

Rachel will sing a version of Wicked's "Defying Gravity" when the show returns. We can't wait!

Glee Round Table: "Mash-Up"

Puck and Rachel?

A soft side to Sue?

A near-kiss between Will and Emma?

There was plenty to analyze on last night's episode of Glee, so let's get right to it in this edition of the Round Table!

More surprising of a hook-up: Puck and Rachel, or Sue and anyone?
A. Cheerio: OMG, Puck and Rachel! I'm a loyal Jew, but I still didn't see this make-out session coming. Come on, Rach. You can do so much better.

BerryTalented: I had no idea Sue had a loving bone in her body. Who knew Battleship was the way to her heart? Or to other body parts? Yech. I just grossed myself out.

FinnFan: What about Sue and Will?!? They didn't get together, but they did get along. I loved seeing those two dance together. I can't get enough of their scenes.

Glee RT

What was your favorite musical number from the episode?
A. Cheerio: Many great options, but I'll go with Will's version of the Thong Song.

BerryTalented: They didn't play a lot of it, but I loved Rachel's rendition of "What a Girl Wants." As my moniker might give away, I think that girl is ultra talented.

FinnFan: D'uh! Bust a Move! Just when I thought this show couldn't get any cooler, it busted out with one of my favorite songs from back in the day. I can only hope this leads to a Young M.C. comeback!
