Juan finally reveals to Mike his motivations for having Briggs investigated, revealing a sordid story of murder and suspicion that has Mike doing his best to distance himself from Juan's vendetta. In the meantime, Mike watches as Bello and the Cazo Cartel go to war, the mythical Jangles coming to town as a precursor. Mike is caught in the crossfire and is injured via stab wound, landing him in the hospital. When he seeks solace with Paige, he reveals his true reason for being places at Graceland, alienating Paige.

Briggs struggles hard with the past realities, shooting Juan, who confronts him as Jangles undercover.
