Jane's ex Ryan is in town to visit only to be revealed that Ryan is in fact a woman.

Brad becomes jealous when he realizes that Ryan and Jane were in love and wasn't just a phase.

They reconcile over a dinner where Brad's ex-girlfriend is there and she ends up hooking up with Ryan. Penny and Pete try hanging out with Pete's friends but Penny is less than amused.

They agree that Penny's friends are funnier. Alex, Dave, and Max track down Max's new cool roommate and ruin his life by exposing his second life to his wife.
