Savannah starts to wrestle with the idea of sleeping with Dan and ultimately decides to book a hotel room for the big night. Marti tells her not to plan every detail, that sometimes the unexpected is good. She tells the story of her first time, that took place in the back of a car.

The Hellcats host a spirit party for their 25th anniversary in an 80’s theme. Wanda approaches Dan at the party about Marti, saying that she is in love with him. Dan confronts Marti who says nothing is going on. Clearly, there are feelings there. At the hotel, Savannah asks Dan about his first time, which ends up being the same story Marti told her. Savannah runs out on Dan.

Alice accompanies Jake to a magazine interview about the football team, causing interest in the Hellcats. The magazine decides to get rid of the football article to focus on the squad, making Jake angry at Alice.

Marti and Morgan work on their case tracking down the man who owns the property Travis’ ex-girlfriend lives in. He is suspicious and both of their laptops end up getting stolen.
