"Runyon Canyon" takes a SVU slant this week as the team has to sort out the rape and murder of a female college student, Beth Garrett.  

Drugs and deviant sex make up most the DA’s case against fellow female premed student Sylvie Lester and her two accomplices, burnout, Roger Darden and, boyfriend, Jesse Beckman.

Last minute doubts are cast on the case and new leads lead to new evidence and the actual killer.
