At a therapy session, a man named Martin complains his mother won't give him any space. His tycoon mother controls everything includng the sessions. At work, the mother snubs Martin and a female employee invites him to spend time with her. He hears inappropriate noises from upstairs and says he will be free in an hour.

HE tells his mother he has plans, which pisses her off.

Martin and the employee look at designs and talk about whether Connie will approve. The woman asks him to give her cocaine. He tells her to keep it as it's nice that she invites him over and protects him. She doesn't think having sex with him is smart as a private eye came to see her.She says it's for the best as he's her boss. He rapes her.

Martin comes home and finds his mother has lit candles. She asks what happened. He says he needs her help and cries that he hurt someone.

Churlish has brought her own coffee and is tired from taking MPA classes. She asks Muncy how Teddy is doing.

Benson is glad that Muncy and Churlish are getting along. Fin says no one else is here. Benson gets a call about Mona Stewart accusing Martin Parrish of rape. She suggests that Muncy and Churlish go together to talk to her.

Mona explains that she didn't call the cops last night because she had done cocaine. She says Martin is rich and doesn't have friends and he comes over after his compulsory dinners with his mother. She says she tried to push him away and he got angry and ripped her shirt and bit her breasts and raped her. She was frozen. Muncy explains that freezing up is normal in this type of situation. He left right after. Her roommate freaked out and she called 911. She shows them her injuries and says she was going to forget about it but she decided she wanted him changed.

The team briefs Carisi who says they have PC but then Martin will lawyer up.

Fin and Benson question Martin who says they cuddled. Benson tells him they did a rape kit. Martin blames the cocaine. He claims that Mona is lying because his mother found out and was going to fire her. Connie shows up and says the same thing.. She won't let Martin talk and says her son won't answer questions without a lawyer.

Mona shows up at the station and says she changed her mind and this wasn't rape. Carisi doesn't think he can make the case without Mona's testimony but Bensonw ants him arrested anyway.

The cops come to the mansion and find Martin in bed with his mother. They arrest Martin and Connie says she's calling her lawyer.

A guy comes  up to Fin and Benson and starts saying this is extortion, etc. Fin and Benson are not itnerested in listening.

For some reason the judge grants ROR even though Martin has access to private planes.

Carisi isn't sure he can even get an indictment (so why was there an arraignment?). Benson sees Connie pacing around and goes to talk to her. Connie is sure she understands how helpless she feels as a mother. She says she is going to protect her son just like what Benson did in the gang case.  Connie claims Benson is trying to portect her career by going over Martin.

The cops confront Stewart and coerce him into testifying.

Martin doesn't think he will be held accountable and his lawyer is insisting this is all inadmissible etc.

Mona doesn't want to talk to the cops and resents being subpoenaed. Muncy and Churlish try to convince her to testify but she says it's impossible toget justice from the Parrishes. While Muncy and Churlish debae in the squad room what to do , Fin gets a call that Mona has committed suicide.

Mona appears to have OD'd  but the cops don't buy it. The ME says that the cocaine was not to blame for her death. She had scarring in her lungs like a 9/11 survivor but she was too young for that.

The cops discuss this. Benson says Connie acts jealous and like she's in love with her son. They decide to talk to Martin. Martin is upset that someone killed Mona. He needs to use an inhaler and the cops think he needs a lung scan too.

Same type of scarring on Martin's lungs. He got the cocaine from his mother's guy Friday. Carisi doesn't get it. Why wuld she poison her son? Benson says maybe Munchausens? THey decide to get a warrant for her property.

A guy tries to stop the cops but they have a warrant. He says her father built this home and claims not to know anything about cocaine. They find cocaine and an industrial abrasive in the freezer. The man is arrested.

The man claims personal use. The man claims he used it himself and his relationship is to do odd jobs for Connie.

Connie is arrested and says she is horrified. Benson accuses her of poisoning Martin so he can't leave her.

Martin claims his mother wouldn't hurt him and that it's all Henry. Muncy says his mother wantsed to infantilize Martin so he'd always need her. He says he does need her. He won't turn against her even though his lawyer thinks he should.  He can't lose his mother or he'll be an orphan.

Henry also won't turn against Connie. Carisi wants to try to find Martin's father and try to talk some sense into Martin. Benson says Martin is also a victim.

Martin's father says that Connie tried to poison him the same way. He says that he was cheating on her and so she molested Martin. Then she started poisoning him and he left.  He didn't want Martin to end up in foster care so he didn't report any of this. But he does love his son.

Martin returns to the station and hugs his father. He missed him so much. He swears he didn't have anything to do with what his mom did. Connie shows up too and accuses him of stealing Martin from her. She gets upset when Martin says to leave him alone. She retaliates by saying she doesn't need anyone, not even Martin, and definitely not her lawyer.

Connie says Benson turned her son against her. Benson says she crippled her son. Connie says she parented herself and so she took care of her son. She claims Martin is more important to her than her career. Benson says you never let him grow up. Benson tells Connie this is narcissism, not love, and her husband is putting Martin first and Connie is not.

Connie takes a plea. Benson says that's only because Connie didn't want a bigger sentence. She says Connie has a pathology where a personality should be. Carisi says what about Martin? Benson says Martin's father has gotten Martin to confess. Benson decides to go home and hug Noah.
