Law & Order: SVU Season 24 Episode 13 revolves around a phony EMT who is staging accidents and raping victims.

Emma and her fiance Josh are celebrating their engagement when they are sideswiped. An EMT shows up out of nowhere, takes Emma to the ambulance, and rapes her in front of Josh.

SVU is called to the hospital to interview Emma and Josh. Benson reluctantly takes Bruno, who Fin has invited to ride along and see if he wants to work with them. Bruno talks to Josh while Benson talks to Emma, who remembers nothing.

Josh is not very cooperative as the case continues as he is ashamed of not being able to stop the rape. The situation escalates when another woman is raped in a similar manner.

Meanwhile, Velasco tries to get Muncy to open up about her feelings about Duarte's death, which she resists. Eventually she admits she's angry that he went to the bodega when he had quit smoking.

Finally, Benson asks Muncy to listen to the tape of Velasco talking to the perp and report back to her. Muncy learns that Velasco said he killed someone.
