Bo struggles to adjust to her new life as a Fae in a human world. She is approached by a Will O' Wisp to track down the man who stole the Fae's treasure. In exchange for her help, he offers to tell her about her birth. This search puts Bo in situation to almost kill a woman and to kill two Fae assassins.
It turns out that the thief was the man's son. Bo finds out that a Fae mid-wife took her away for protection.
Bo went to Lauren to get help in controlling her feeding urges. A side effect of the treatment is slowing down her ability to heal. Bo turns to Dyson for his ability to heal her injury through sexual energy.

As hard as it is to beleive, you'll be able to love Baby Two just as much (and let's face it, sometimes more when the older one is pitching a fit). A French friend told me that we have to grieve for the connection we have with our older child before the younger one is born. I don't know if this is ancient French wisdom, but it's right on.
