Half of Louie's pilot centered around the stand-up routines of Louis C.K., which is fine by us - the guy is hilarious!
The rest of this episode gave us a glimpse into the life of the divorced father of two:
- We see the trouble he has helping to chaperone his kid's school trip, especially when the bus driver quits because Louie gives him such a hard time.
- We then spend a lot of time on the most awkward date in TV history. Louie fails miserably trying to impress a younger women, who responds by jumping into a helicopter and flying away.
