Lane owes money in back taxes but he doesn't know how he's going to come up with it.  He announces that SCDP has a surplus and they will be getting Christmas bonuses.  The rest of the partners put a hold on the bonuses, so Lane steals a check for $7,500 from Don's office.

Harry meets up with Paul, who is deep into the Krishna movement.  He tries to get Harry to join, and then gives him a Star Trek script.  It's bad, but Harry doesn't want to hurt his feelings. Paul's "girlfriend" hits on Harry so that he will stay away from Paul, the group's best recruiter.

Joan gets served divorce papers so Don takes her to test a Jaguar and then for drinks.  The two spend all night at the bar, and Megan is angry when Don comes home late.
