When you watch Madam Secretary Season 2 Episode 11 you'll quickly learn not to get Elizabeth angry. Elizabeth stays behind in Geneva to try to convince the Russian general to uphold the peace treaty. Unfortunately, things take a turn for the worse when it's revealed the person behind the assassination on Maria Ostrov's car was a Ukraine citizen who wasn't happy about the peace treaty. The Russian general informs Elizabeth they plan to have three days of mourning, but will be attacking the Ukraine. The United States is able to track down the person responsible for the attacks, but the Ukraine refuses to hand him over because he's being viewed as a hero. Elizabeth finally puts her foot down and demands the Ukraine give the man over or the United States will pull out all the troops and won't help the Ukraine when Russia attacks. They decide to hand him over to Russia, but the general is still not standing down from attacking Ukraine. After having a conversation with President Dalton, they decide to speak to the heart of the matter and the new Russian President agrees he's tired of the bloodshed and upholds the peace treaty.
