Claire, Gloria, Cam, and Mitchell head to a bar with Haley to celebrate. The bouncer thinks that Claire is asking for a senior discount. Claire vows that she is going to treat Haley like more of an adult. This leads to Haley and Gloria including Claire in their conversations about sex and men.

Cam and Mitchell pride themselves on getting Haley a great gift, but realize they might have lost their touch when she gives the fake "high-pitched voice" response. They also think that a nearby bachelorette party is desperate to hang out with them. When they finally try to hang with the girls on the dance floor, they get rejected. The guys are then worried that they are getting old.

Haley tells Claire she wants a tattoo. Gloria thinks it's great and Claire pretends to agree. Then Haley suggests mother/daughter tattoos and Claire is so touched that she can't say no. After Claire gets hers, Haley chickens out.

Jay and Phil are out getting Haley a car for her birthday. Jay tries to haggle for a better deal but it doesn't work.
