He approaches Agent McGee for assistance, only to have McGee inform him that it would be easier to just pay the ransom. The ransomware, naturally, instantly spreads to the rest of the team's phones. The team must now track down the source of the virus and attempt to figure out a way to counteract it. They turn to outside sources for additional help and information about this particular type of malware, leading them to unexpected discoveries. Meanwhile, Quinn takes some personal time off when her mother gives her an emergency phone call summoning her home.
